very nice deal.. basically mint.. cool to see the younger generations get into old school boomboxes.. never owned a 960.. and i have owned over 300.. did you do the repair yourself? if so much respect.. i repair my own too.. that tape unit doesnt look like fun to tear down lol..
i got super lucky with this one! i do the repairs myself. this one needed new belts as the originals turned into a gooey mess. that was no fun cleaning lol. this mech isn’t too crazy to work on actually! but getting access to it required taking the whole thing apart, since it is screwed into the front of the internal structure. but once it was out it was accessible. thanks for watching!
