It's impressive how you make the electric cello sound just like an electric guitar! That solo was really epic! You've improved so much in just one year, I think this channel has a lot of potential, it's very unique! 👍😃
Thank you so much!! It's actually pretty neat, I just run my cello though Guitar Rig and then take some time finetuning the presets I like the most :) And of course I can pretend to be way cooler than I actually am lol

that solo turned out so good. paldea has so many songs that kick ass. been subscribed for a while and i always love your work. i hope you don't mind constructive feedback. i'd say a sharper attack/decay on the backing instruments might give them a bit more weight to provide a steady anchor for such a high-octane melody. i also think a higher dynamic range would help to highlight some of those backing instruments in the mid sections and build tension leading up to the solo. i don't want my unsolicited opinion to come across as rude, i'm just offering something to think about for your future pieces :)

i'm glad to hear that! it's hard to really judge your own stuff after working on it for hours on end, especially when it's something as subjective as dynamics and ADSR. and its even harder sometimes to find others who will give feedback that isn't just positive. i'm not super experienced with audio mixing though, so i might totally be off the mark with my feedback. either way, keep up the lovely work 😊
This is honestly really cool. What other games do you like, and what are your favorite kinds of pieces to cover? Electric Cello sounds amazing. Also: grats on you for pushing and challenging yourself. :)

I actually only really played Pokemon until recently when I started playing Breath of the Wild and then Tears of the Kingdom, so I'm slowly turning into a Zelda fan :) Hands down my favorite styles are hard rock and metal, but I also like mixing different genres together when I do covers.
I actually stuck with the cello as a kid because I discovered Apocalyptica, who do a ton of metal all on cello 👀 You can hear their influence all over my tracks lol
I trust you mean Clive because Clyde was the guy who would greet you in the gyms in some of the old games. But that would have been an amazing throwback.
