A tip for tapping - is forward three turns then back one, it takes longer but your hole is clean tapped. Good video.

On an old wadkin the fence opens slightly past the arbour reducing the pinch (The fence is not exactly parallel to the blade!). Hence why the blade tilts towards the fence. Its not ideal but they did think about it. Check out Jack Frostburg for setting up old wadkins.

So when you need to use your plunge router again, are you going to take apart the table saw for the spring... lol Thumbs Up!

As always, a fantastic job with the whole process. That is some insane work on the dust extraction! Now I'm curious how it works. Looking forward to seeing that set up in your shop and ripping some stock.👊

Great restoration Ben. Liked all the little tips on the way, especially bending that PVC with heatgun, adding spring to that micro adjuster, etc. Have a great new year party 🥳 🍻🥂

Great video Ben, that is going to be one pucker saw when it’s done. Glad to see you followed my link to the Hooked on Wood channel.. (he is Dutch) for the zero clearance insert... HNY.. Cheers Paul

LOL! I have that blue, green and orange "pile of shit" parallel drill press and I can also confirm it is a "piece of a shit!" used it once, it was bollocks and have never used it again. 😀

SWEET! Too bad the arbor's not a bit longer, but that saw will last forever.
