I find the sense of humour is fairly similar to British humour, and also love just how direct they are! it's really refreshing. where else would you recommend visiting in the Netherlands?💕
Yesss, I am so glad you liked Amsterdam and the people there! It really is one of the places were there is sooo much to see and do (and eat). The Dutch are also pretty famous for their electronical- and techno scene, so would recommend going to a festival if you like that kind of stuff. Also, we have a nice seaside; cosy (and old) towns, dunes, sandy beaches and beautiful nature (although cold and rainy most of the year as I am sure you might be familiar with- sigh). haha, British humor, I take this as a compliment, I think dry British wit is generally very funny haha. Also glad you didn't seem to mind the directness, some people really need to get used to that!

I always love people visiting the Netherlands and watching their view on it. I laughed when you said 'lunch isn't really a thing here'. We are big bread eaters, so a lot of us eat bread two times a day. Or maybe a salad, soup or yogurt/smoothiebowl for one of those meals. But most of us only eat warm for diner.

Love your travel vlogs and especially nice to see you in my home country! So funny to hear someone else say the train is only 4 hours because I'm always promoting going to Paris or London with the train from the Netherlands because indeed it's just 3-4 hours! Margo's been on my list for ages but I have been to Sue (though in a different city) a few times and really liked that too! Thanks for the recommendations of those fancier places, I should definitely check those out too. So happy you enjoyed the trip! Traveling within the Netherlands is also quite easy with the trains. When you return, I also recommend visiting Utrecht, it's close to where I'm from and I actually prefer it much over Amsterdam because it's less busy and the canals have two levels so you can sit right next to the water. There are even some trees on the lower level and in autumn the colours are stunning! If it is spring or summer time during your next visit, I recommend going to the botanical garden in Utrecht, it's a bit outside of the center (actually on the university campus) but it's very nice. My non-Dutch partner also loves Rotterdam, which is more modern and of course has some harbors

haha i love that! tbh, i was slightly disappointed as i was hoping it would be more like a traditional dutch cheese shop with all the cheese wheels and options to taste, you know? still cool! but just not what my overambitious head had dreamed up
