The issue is that Scopley doesn't want people to reach the whalestones without spending, so when more and more people hoard stuff and reach those whalestones free to play, Scopley will adjust the math to compensate for that.
I absolutely would hoard my campaign energy, but I--for over 1,600 days--have been absolutely STARVED for gold, so those tiny little gold orbs are mandatory for me. :(
You're not alone these people that are hoarding are people that have played for years and have all their stuff pretty much completed except what new comes out don't explain that..
@@1BigDaDo Yeah mobile is in a very top guild that also has a lot of spenders and has been these type of groups for years. He is in a very select niche group. there is no point really in him giving out this advice.
Great video, I'm one of the people upset with the Ancient One step up offer, got on 18 shards out of 68 orbs, they have now lost as a spender cause I feel absolutely cheating, was a faithful pass buyer

I'm in the top 250 alliance range, and I can do 3 T4's per new character currently, but because my account is relatively young (just over a year old), I have a backlog of characters missing T4's, so I have to put stuff into reworks whenever that happens. People like Mobile likely have done those T4's in the past and so can continue to hoard. Why do you think Scopely is going to be doing more Awakened abilities? Because the top has thousands of T4's not being used, so there's no temptation to buy more.
Some problem that people are not talking about enough is how the game is not rewarding and the dayli challenge like first of all make all the dayli challenge available everyday and the other is that the game doesnt give you enough reward (training mats, gold, ability material etc)
Its simple if your lvl 100 50+million tcp your end game can hoard if your under that you have to use to lvl toons and yourself ! Mid game is lvl 100 tcp 50mill are lower and beginners are lvl 90 under ! 😅
The secret is to just try for the new characters. The old characters isn’t as important as the new ones. I have a 100m account and a baby account. I just work on the new characters like spider society, hive mind, orchis, night stalkers and anything new

I have a 3diamond Apoc, 7yellow/6red Skrull, Just got Brexit @ 3yellow/3red, have all NightStalkers G18 except Oath (65 shards for her), All Undying @G17, All Orchis @ G19, All Annihilators at G19 & at least with 7&7 execpt Thanos only 6&6.. My OML is G19 w/ 5yellow & 5red.. Mostly every toon I just mentioned has 2 or 3 diamonds obv except OML/Britain/Zombie Scarlett/ Zuggz/ End Game Thanos & Skrull... The only thing I've ever spent money on has been buying $20 Battle & Strike passes & that started with Ares... U being LvL 100 & 38Mil TCP but you've been playing for an entire year & have spent over $500 just says that you must not be very good at any game mode. Also that you must be spending money on costumes & terrible offers 💯🤦🤣🤣
I'm with the passes NOT having great value. I don't complete the strike pass because I don't spend ANY campaign energy. Only the 36/400 iso, no more. I keep scoring well, when I shoot my shot.

If you don’t have Skrull and Apoc, hoarding makes zero sense. The point where it starts to make more sense is when you have all your raid and war teams to GT18 and need Crimson gear and purple ISO for DD7-8. At least when talking about long term hoarding of energy. Hoarding energy for a day or 2 before an event starts is different. Hoarding Blitz orbs because you have 7* on the featured character (Pavitr currently) makes sense. I’m hoarding Blitz orbs until the next featured character (Gorr IIRC) goes into them. Once I get that character to 7*, I’ll hoard Blitz orbs again. My point is that what is smart to hoard absolutely depends on where you are in the game. I would guess next level cap is coming with Professor X similar to how Apoc is GT17 between DD5(GT16) and DD6(GT18). I don’t expect that until at least Xmas/New Year.
Would like to bring this to peoples attention in the one Milestone event were you use undying in war. My zombie iron man and juggernaut are at 6 red stars my iron man zombie is 7 stars. I'm not receiving any points from using them at so many stars is it literally because they are red star not Yellow that's straight B.S being penalized for my characters being so upgraded?

I try to hoard energy when I can but I like farming the gold orb fragment nodes. And just let them stack up.

300 premiums 500 basics don't even count 10 useless megas. 90 annihilator shards
Day 5 of Battleworld and I was finally able to buy 5 Thanos EG shards from the Siege store. I feel so accomplished now 🙄

I'm lvl 95 ftp and I just feel like I'm behind somehow like I'm only at a 12.5 mili tcp. The game just doesn't reward enough.
