Autumn Sunshine On The Bayfields Light Railway - A 16mm Scale Garden Railway

November 2020 on The Bayfields Light Railway- and possibly the last running session of the year. Essential maintenance and landscaping will take place over the winter months.
Locos featured in the episode include:
Ruston Hornsby 44hp Loco - a kit by Bole Laser Craft, completed during 2020 in the workshops at Bayfields. The loco is fitted with 6x AA Batteries and FlySky FS-gt2b radio control equipment.

'Albert' - A Manning, Wardle & Co inspired saddle tank locomotive. This was constructed during 2020 in the workshops at Bayfields Engineering. It is built on a Accucraft 'Ragleth' power unit, with all other parts designed and built by myself.
'David', and much modified Accucraft Edrig also makes in apperance. This was my first live steam locomotive, and has been re-built countless times!

Stunning!!!! Most garden railways , especially narrow gauge , over do the cute factor but this is a line in its natural habitat , beautiful

Thanks Stephen, and yes you are right. The Railway is set in the 'west country'. Generaly inspired by lines in Dorset and Devon, like the clay railways and the L&B.
