Hi. I sprayed a loco br blue, railmatch. Added decals. Once dry I sprayed with lacquer. The next day the loco was covered in white patches. Don't know why. Would you know? Many thanks.
That could be a few factors, moisture still within the decals, or laquer reacting with the paint, or bad laquer or even incorrect spraying pattern from gun. If the white patches are just over the decals then the issue will most likely be something to do with the decals, if the white patches are everywhere that would indicate the decals arent the issue, sometimes if its too cold ive also had white patches form in my laquers.. hopefully this is helpful.. id suggest to do some test peices of possible, different paints react in different ways.. my gut feeling with what you explain is the white patches actually sound like it was maybe a bit too cold, especially if the patches are all over.. you can always send me a picture via my email at baylissbespokedesigns@gmail.com Cheers Rich
