Imagine being a random cop who doesn't watch supernatural, and by chance pulling her over one night and finding all these stuff.

Yeeeah unless you legit tell them they can search your car (do not ever fucking do that even if there’s nothing in your car), no cop can look inside your car.
I don't think it would be too bad considering none of that stuff's real it would be pretty easy to explain away including the what most people would call "devil worship symbols"
Even in supernatural, i don’t understand how sam and dean haven’t gotten pulled over and had a cop look in the trunk and see their weapons
I am genuinely so jealous. I'm almost 21 and I'm still saving to try and buy one and this girl, a very nice 19 year old, is lucky enough to have a very generous collector for a dad. I'm sure she'll take good care of it and I just hope I find one before they're all bought up.

It's a shame as they are very rare and very expensive. I bought mine only for 1400 dollars back in 2008 now an average one is around 18k.
Wow... You guys talking about when you started watching Supernatural makes me feel old as hell.
I was 15 when I started watching the show, all the way back during Season 1, in 2005.
Man Of Steel same. It came on literally a month before my 12th birthday, and I started watching from the beginning :)

They show how the seats move up in the show! Remember in the episode where dean gets turned into a 13 year old in season 9? The one with Hansel and gretel? In that episode, dean gets in the car and moves the seats up and since they’re attached, Sam’s legs get crunched and says “maybe I should drive...”

I'm 31. I was in high school when I remember Smallville and Supernatural running back to back. I remember watching the pilot episode and being instantly hooked. It's amazing seeing all these younger people enjoying the series like I did.
This is so lovely and sweet, I am so glad you were able to have a drive too. She is so lucky to have this car, her joy shine through as she talks about the car and the items. Thankyou both for letting us share this with you.
Replica Impalas are just the coolest thing!!! This one was absolutely amazing!!! I love how much stuff she has in the trunk and it all just looks so real!!!
In 1977 my dad bought a 67 impala for my high school senior year. It was just a used car back then but it was fast. Like you said it drives like a boat. I love my Chevy impala and put an 8 track stereo. Beach boy music while cruising in Duluth Minnesota.
Love this video, such a collection she has. I was 21 years old when the show premiered.. Thinking about how so much has changed over 15 years and yet Supernatural was always there and something to look forward too. Great video and soo awesome you got to drive Betty. Cant wait for part 2.

@@ScottCStclair I think the Impala or Caprice Sport Sedan is especially rare in this area, because nobody wanted them in the 80s and 90s. 'More-doors" were used for demolition derby, or they just yanked engines and transmissions for Camaros, Chevelles, etc. and scrapped the rest 😢
I agree with her. It was difficult to find. I’ve been looking for one since I was in HS. 7-8 years later ( almost 24 y/o now.)... finally found an all original 1967 impala. Now I’ve owned it for more than a year and haven’t started restoration but I already know it’s gonna be expensive

This reminds me of that one episode where Sam and Dean had to find the villain of the the week, and the location just so happened to be in a convention for the in-universe equivalent to Supernatural. So I just have this memory engrained of Sam and Dean pulling up and finding tens of Impalas that look identical
My dads always owned and been obsessed with classic cars as well. It helps alot if you have someone who knows cars well and can help you because so many older cars have rusted parts and need to be replaced. This was a fun video for me and my dad to watch together.

Courtney is so cool, love all the little details on the car and that she plays proper music from the casette, and especially that she uses the OG KAZ plate. Watched SN since the pilot when I was a teenager and I am so so jealous, but happy for her, because she really is a proper fan! This baby will only be a lifelong dream for me since I'm in Europe, but fingers crossed at some point in time I'll be able to check out one these replicas in person. God bless her and hope she takes good care of the Impala for many more years to come.

I’ve always loved vintage cars, my dad was into vintage caddy’s, but I am obsessed with the Impala. I think it’s the sexiest car, I love the lines, that grill and especially the rumble, growling engine. I do wonder if they all sound like that, or if Baby has modifications.

Thank you so much for posting this! I was actually talking to my dad pretty recently and I was like "It would be so cool to have an impala" and said, "well soon you will have a good paying job and can buy your own." So I have been looking into how to get one and saving for one someday. This video was really educational for me. I actually also have my own EMF that my dad and I made over the summer. Big Thanks!
67 4 doors are gonna be about the only model thats gonna be hard to find for collectors later on. Most car people want a 2 door but due to them crashing so many of these during production of the show leaving more 2 doors out in the wild.

This is a great gift to receive from a parent! It would have been in 1967, and it really is now! I drove a 1970 Impala for years. I did like the body room in the trunk!
This is cool but so sad. She doesn’t really seem to know...anything about cars. “Can’t do a u turn because it’s a boat”. Pretty sure you can, you probably just get scared by the way the car rolls to one side and probably the noises it probably makes. Also why does it sound like the car isn’t really in good shape? Are you just focusing on buying kit for the trunk and not at all on restoration?

I got into Supernatural from watching X-Files, saw a preview for the premire Supernatural so I followed the show since the beginning, so sad its ended but it was a very good run.
I live in the Chicago suburbs, will have to figure out how to get to one of these to see the Impala. Never seen a 67 in person. I didn't realize how difficult it is to locate one, been also looking for a 70s R/T Charger. I recently got an 18 Challenger SXT since it resembles the 60s/70s look which is awesome. It's as close to the 67 Impala that I'll get for awhile. Need to locate some junkyards to get a project Charger or if I can find the 67 Impala even if it is 2 door the basic car is the same really, but its amazing how ridiculously close this Impala is to the show. I am amazed at the detail.

These are nice cars and drive beautiful, very easy to work on compared to the Chrysler stuff I always build. I've driven everything you can think of but these old impalas drive beautiful and I'm glad I built one for my wife. I love it so much I'm selling one of my Mopars and building one of these .
Now i feel old I was 17 when the show started in 2005 been watching it ever since. I found a web site that sells Supernatural weapons Otaku Ninja Hero. They sell lots of different replica weapons from different shows + anime. For Supernatural they sell the angel blade, the first blade, the impala blade, rubys blade and the colt gun that comes in a case with several bullets replica only doesn't fire lol. I want to get them all :).

wow, power seats? the cars my family had back during that time were always manual. Always a challenge to move that big old bench seat. My grandfather had a Pontiac dealership so we were around this vintage growing up. I used to drive a '71 Pontiac LeMans. Only a few years younger. Gotta love the manual steering a brakes on a V8.
It's because her car most likely used to be a Chevrolet Caprice Classic that was converted to an Impala for the purposes of making a Supernatural car. The Caprice Classic was basically the same body style as the Impala however it had more luxuries and amenities than the Impala.

I think I heard on one of the DVD commentaries that the door squeaks are added in post and each door has a specific squeak that they use.
Plot twist "baby" was in the garage because Sam & Dean where on a case.

Whats it like owning an impala? It's simple: if you are given one, or if you have an endless supply of money and access to every replacement part you'll ever need, it's great!
