Yes sir you can definitely go for boat ride at satkosia without checking in to the sand resort. But i am not sure about the price , because for me the boating price was included along with sand resort booking.

I guess cooking is not allowed inside the resort ,but picnic are allowed outside the forest range gate , which is about 3-4 km from the resort.
