I love it actually like it more more everyday I wear it It's a big upgrade in my opinion compared to my six classic and I don't miss the bezel they did it in a way where the screen feels bigger and it's super smooth
I've had the Gear S3 Frontier, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, 5 Pro, 6 Classic, and Ultra. The Ultra is my favorite by far. I do love the rotating bezels of the 6 Classic. However, they would often get gunked up due to activity (probably wasn't for me). I went with the Silver Ultra, and it looks fantastic even with the more athletic bands. I will definitely be getting a titanium band for the nicer occasions. I use the quick button for tracking walks. It's nice to track my random walking breaks throughout the day with the click of a button.
Great content. About price, why is every TH-camr complaining about the price 🤔, the one thing you all are not talking about is going through a carrier. Through my career, I'm just paying $27.00 a month. Yes, it's for Two year's but I plan on keeping mine for that long or longer as for the band, I don't think apple has a patent on orange bands. In fact, seiko has had orange bands on their watches since the 70s. The 7 ultras band assembly is the best on the market. Once it's on, it's super secured. Not like apples. You slide there's in, and when it locks, it's still loose. As for battery, with power saver off and AOD off, and adoptive brightness on, I'm getting a good 3 days,3 hours. With power saver on, I'm getting 112 hours per charge. That's over 4.5 days. After wearing my watch 4 44mm 4 44mm for over 2 yrs, man, what a breath of fresh air.

But yeah, getting a good deal with a trade-in or scoring through your carrier is always a good idea. The orange bands have indeed been around for a long time, seems to be the standard color for diving watch bands based on the limited research I've done. But I still didn't want them personally due to the similarity of Apple's. I much prefer the galaxy watch ultra over the apple watch ultra, it looks much nice IMHO.
It's hilarious how many people proclaimed, "They copied Apple!" The only thing Apple might be able to claim first is the quick action button. I'm not even sure about that. Either way, it's a button. Good job, Apple! Your innovative button has changed the world of smartwatches! None of this matters. It's just entertaining.

@ChandlerEgbert Actually , samsung had programmable buttons on their phones long before apple copied it on the I phone and called it a quick button (revolutionary )😂 even the orange band , samsung did first , so they can't even take credit for that. Some people aren't happy unless they are whinging about something .
Absolutely love this watch but I’m currently waiting for a replacement as mine only lasted approximately 14 hours even with AOD and health functions turned off

I wouldn't turn in 6 Classic. The Ultra is a great watch. I love wearing it every day and some of the interactions I get because of it. But when in certain outfits. Like for work or something manual around the house. I go with my sleek 6.

Thanks for stopping by. I used to have the watch 5 pro (best battery ever, loved it), and it actually feels very similar. You won't notice it after a short time. Sadly, no, you can't control the volume by swiping around the bezel. You have to select the device (in my case my phone) in the app, then press up or down buttons for the volume. It's not near as convenient as the watch 6 classic.
@RADERTECH Appreciate the reply. When you were controlling Spotify volume with rotating bezel, we're you accessing Spotify via phone, or via LTE through the watch? If via LTE, how was your Watch 6 Classic battery life?
I hope it works out for you. I had one for 3 days and was gonna trade in my 6 classic but I just couldn't do it. I didn't see any major chance. I go on basic walks everyday on a path out in the open and I was getting identical gps distance with both watches and my heart rate was the same. So I returned the Ultra. I just can't part ways with the classic and the physical rotating bezel. The classic just looks way better to me also. If they do an 8 classic next year I'll upgrade to that.
I get you, and there's definitely no harm in hanging on to the 6 classic, it's a great watch. I do prefer the looks of the new Ultra, but I'm missing the rotating bezel a lot, especially for music.
