‘an’ is not used ‘a’ is used.
however, having said this, with a name like Aljaz, i would assume english is not his first language. in which case, this is a nuance that is often overlooked in translation between european languages like french, german etc

@ in most cases yes, but this scenario is one of the few where it does not. english is weird, most of the people here struggle to speak or write it correctly so don’t worry! 😂
i would also like to say that i agree with your points on nuclear fuel and the layers of red tape… but i think there is enough innovation within our continent if we can just get it past the legislation makers.

You suggest Pan European projects are needed to build Europe back. You suggest large companies are the way forward. For me this is false. You don't need a huge country to build a Google or a Facebook. Just the right culture. Even a Luxemburg could do it. Europe's problem is that it has become moribund under bureaucratic regulation designed by large corporations at the expense of the small and medium.
We will not recover until a more business friendly culture is created across Europe.

They gave up their rights to defend themselves. Now they’re losing freedom of speech. They left themselves open to be controlled by the rich and powerful elites. I have no sympathy for them because they chose this route. Protection at the cost of freedom. They’re trying to do it in America too. Powerful people are paying a lot to brainwash the youth into being scared and thinking that if they just give all of their rights away they will be safe. Europe is within driving distance to most major conflicts going on right now yet all of their people are blissfully ignorant and unable to actually protect themselves if needed. It’s a country full of weak, frail, pathetic, and ignorant people who will just lean on America if anything goes wrong like they have for over a hundred years. Don’t give up your freedom if you still have it left in your country.

As European ,I say divide the nations again. We are pulled whenever Germany wants us to go. We are not a nation nor a Union.
Specific people are making lot of money and we are getting poorer.
Better to be poor and free from that "union" than in it.

@@dionysioskarypidis6120 I agree about the danger of Germany being overweight within the union, but it is MUCH better to be poor and at peace than poor and at war. Look at the histories of the member states of the EU. That we have had 80 years without fighting each other is an extraordinary achievement that even my grandparents would have struggled to believe.

    • @YOLOlynn
      @YOLOlynn 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

Yup. There is no union. In Europe everything is planned by bureaucrats nobody actually voted for, and they're running around basically unchecked because journalists are busy covering national politics as though that still matters. Members of parliament are corrupt to a shocking degree, which is super convenient because there's a lobby war going on behind the scenes seeing as how companies and counties are competing, NOT working together. Countries aren't even allowed anymore to decide for themselves how well their vacuum cleaners should work (the EU dictates that everyone needs to use weak vacuum cleaners to save on electricity- seriously) how citizens can charge their phone (only usb-c allowed, new inventions be damned) or how much tax can be put on a box of tampons (which indirectly caused Brexit). Despite our differences, we're supposed to share a coin and last summer the transfer-union was signed into fact making sure that no country is responsible for anything anymore. Yeah, the EU in its current form is going to implode. The sooner, the better. Preferably before the Euro defaults in a next financial crisis.

We should just go full on isolationist and self sustainable. Idk why that’s seen as such a sin by the 99%. I get why the billionaire owners of multinationals who want to rig commodity prices and exploit the slave labor in the third world. I’m aware of why they like it. But it’s not like this global economy is better for anyone who might be reading this or watching this channel. So why do so many people who’s lives are NOT improved by this modern globalist economy convinced they are and have a strong opinion on it too. Why are we having trouble convincing people to believe their own eyes. Are plebs just ignoring it bc it makes them feel bad?

There are more important things than money, for example, personal freedom and the ability to exert influence over the government that holds the ultimate power over the individual. The greater the distance of government from the individual, the less freedom and influence that individual has. You can easily go speak to and influence your local town hall but speaking before the UN is almost impossible. The idea that brands need to merge with others to form mega EU brands in order to compete globally is absurd. There are so many instances of wildly successful national brands from European countries that we all know of that prove this wrong. It would be like saying that Japan needs to merge with South Korea in order to compete. Absurd.
Investing 450B Euros in green energy will do nothing for the EU economy unless the resulting products can be exported. But who would they export to? They themselves give their potential customers a free pass to produce as much CO2 as they want. And they want to give them "climate reparations" on top of that. Winnie the Pooh is laughing all the while as China stands to benefit the most from the West's left-wing climate guilt trip. Gee, I wonder who's behind all the rhetoric?
No, Europe is falling apart because of decades of self-hating left-wing policies overtly designed to express remorse at their historical success and perform self-flagellating penance.
And stop reading Reuters & the AP, they're thinly veiled left-wing propaganda machines.

A combination of the classical prisoner’s dilemma and a strong culture of everyone for himself makes it very difficult to deal with this challenge in EU. This culture is pervasive in all parts of European society, including non competitive contexts. Two colleagues sitting beside each other don’t talk to one another with the aim of seeking alignment on a higher objective. Two organizations, alike. Two cities alike, two countries the same. Accordingly, you end up with a gigantic piling up of parallel works, reinventing the wheel, and not invented here actions in all aspects of society.

In fact, because of the laws of thermodynamics and the weight of batteries, they are less fuel efficient than hydrocarbon cars, which means even more CO2 emissions when EVs are charged by reliable energy sources. Even worse news for Germany, which closed its nuclear power stations and sanctioned and went to war with its supplier of cheap gas in favour of burning brown coal.
