I'm so sorry. Surround yourself with people who do accept and love you for who you are. As for your parents, give them time. Many people do come around in time. They may not, and you'll still be ok if that's the case, but they may surprise you. Peace.
The best thing is to tell them. i know its very very very hard but still if your parents arent accepting you after you tell them, you feel so free and can be yourself again!! I know what im talking about!! wish you the best nice greetings
I understand where you are coming from, but you have to know, that alot of your worries are from your own creation. Don't assume that you know what's in another's heart if you haven't ask them. Of course they may need time, but I promise you that making the decision to tell those you love who you really are is one of the most liberating experiences no matter what reaction you recieve.
@dreamer4eternity That's not nice. Be fair. Everyone thinks differently. No matter what, your Mom will love you underneath it all. Help her to understand, and in the long run she will want what's best for you.
I told my parents on my 18th birthday, after i told my mom that i knew it since a long time, she told me i should have told here before. I think when it really tortures you that nobody knows it you shouldnt wait that long. Because i waited way too long because i was so in fear that my parents could hate me but that never happened. Does your friends know it? The best thing is to tell them first and then discuss whats the best thing is to do if they know your parents. hope i can help you!!
I'm sorry for that. That's an awfull thing to say. I'm not gay, but there are a lot of things my mom doesn't get about me and sometimes it makes me so tired trying to make her understand.
@VegeKaKaGurl Okay, that is a funny, but in all seriousness, I think a Mother might have an easier time accepting a gay son. In a very broad explanation about something so complex, I think it's harder for a man because they share the same physical attributes with their son and can't relate to the sexual differences. So psychologically they rebel against the idea because if they accept their son's choices as plausible, then they must admit it's possible for them to have those feelings.
Im sorry for that! Maybe its good if you tell your father first, but you should mind that maybe he dont reacts like you think (same by your mother). Anyhow i wish you the best i know what your going trough! nice greetings =)
No. Pushing someone down the stair to make them understand isn't gonna solve anything. Maybe a good Dinozzo head smack mainly on religious close-minded people MAY do.:D
ROFL. somehow this is just epically lame. (don't give me thumbs down, people! you have to admit!! That's the most powerful pat on the shoulder ever to be known!!! ROFL) this new side of Luke I never knew.. is exciting!
Glad Mom came around
Nothing like a good fall down the stairs to change one's perception of things lol
If a loving parent can accept their child being gay then imagine a 100000 times much more loving God is.
this is so emotional and I am the same. I hope one day my parent's are the same but they won't be

Even though Luke is only a character I see your point clearly.:)
