The Bialetti Venus is stainless steel inside and outside. But the inside of the bottom reservoir has been sandblasted to rough up the texture a little bit.

Bialetti is MADE IN CHINA. Most Amazon buyers complain of rust and it doesn't work on induction.
Most of the stuff sold on Amazon is Made In China.
I think its just in Usa, in Europe and Asia its always made in Italy or made in Romania
