Something that we need to keep in mind is that monos mask falls off in the boss fight with the thin man. Six saw the face of the thin man possibly when he captured her/ tortured her. Then, she finally gets a good look at monos face when he was dangling. She felt betrayed. It was an act of revenge, not realising that dropping him was what created the thin man in the first place
Yeah good reason but what I mostly think is that if that was the reason then it could be too simple since the developers like to have us bring theories and clues but great theory.
@Dot well the whole reason it's thought that mono wears the bag over his head is because people recognize him and treat him badly. So he hid his face away so people wouldn't make the connection.
ok, so here's what I gathered after reading and watching a ton of theories and analysis from a ton of other people, do with this information in whatever way you see fit. Assuming you have seen the secret ending please know that I am mainly trying to spread this information in order to help people cope with the ending and understand what happened, be warned it is quite long. At first some of us believed that six betrayed mono because she knew he was the thin man or because she was just bad to begin with and that the thin man tried to go back in time to save himself from being betrayed by six, however, we soon realized that this was to obvious, and tarsier does not do anything in their games with an obvious answer. It is now believed that six did not betray mono because she wanted to, but because she had no other choice but to let him fall, the reason why? well, we have few things so far to explain this as well as the thin man time loop/cycle/paradox: For starters, many of us are starting to realize that the true villain of the game is the eye monster in the tower, it is seen all throughout the world of little nightmares and is now for sure considered to be the source of all the madness in the world. We believe that the eyes are pulling the strings of the lady, the thin man, and the pretender by influencing them with a dark desire in order to have them aid in its survival. Whether it’s a prequel or sequel, it’s believed that the eye entity was involved in the creation of shadow six. And whether it is a prequel or sequel, it’s believed that the eyes had discovered that mono and six were working together and immediately felt threatened, so it tried to separate them. All throughout the game, six stayed with mono no matter how dangerous it got and no matter how many times he jumped, she was always there to catch him without a second thought, she became loyal to him and it is made clear to us throughout the game that she had indeed developed a bond with him. In the final scene when mono and six were escaping the tower, six waited for him and even caught him when he jumped, it didn't make sense to us why she wouldn't pull him up after everything they've been through. When she is holding onto mono in the final scene, mono tries to pull himself up but then immediately stops trying, once he does there is this moment of silence between them, implying to us that there is something else going on in this moment and that mono knows something is wrong with six. Now, here are the theories we came up with so far: 1. Six was never interested in making mono her friend, she simply used him to escape the pale city, hence why she was always so easy to leave him behind if something killed him, she was always a bad child with no remorse for others. 2. The music box theory where we believe six betrayed mono because he destroyed her music box, the only thing that gave her comfort and safety. That she grew resentment towards him for all the danger she was put through. In the final moment, she took her revenge against mono for putting her in so much danger to begin with and for destroying the only comfort she had in the cruel world, her music box 3. If its a prequel, then believe that when six let go of mono it was because shadow six had influenced her to do so. Despite not wanting to let go, six couldn't fight the dark influence of shadow six .When she walked to the tv, the one that kept it open was the eye entity itself in order to have her be cut off from mono completely. When six comes face to face with shadow six, it gave her the desire to leave the city by giving her a hunger that could only be satisfied by going to the maw. 4. If it's a sequel then we believe that six knew shadow six was still around, but kept her away by not using the ladys powers. In the last moment, when six held onto mono, the eye had shadow six creep back up in six in order to give her the desire to eat again. Six, knowing fully well that the hunger pains forced her to eat the nome and lady back at the maw, was afraid of eating mono should they both leave the tower, so instead, she let him go, hoping that he would survive somehow just like every other time they got separated in the pale city. Or just in general, could not live with the idea that mono would die by her hands if they left together. When six left through the tv and she saw shadow six in front of her, she was not shocked by its presence, knowing fully well what it was. When shadow six looked down at the ad for the maw, it was trying to tell her to go back to it, but since six knows of what awaits her in the maw, she refused to listen and will try to deal with the hunger pains, forcing shadow six to disappear. 5. The eye entity influenced mono and six near the very end. We theorized that the thin man was stuck in a time loop/paradox and tried to go back in time to warn his past self about sixes betrayal and even tried to seek vengeance against six by kidnapping her. However, this did not make sense since the thin man took six to the tower, the very place where mono would face his tragic fate and where he would become the thin man all over again. If the eye monster is really the one responsible for giving all the people of the world their dark desires, then it's likely that it was taking control of the thin man, but the thin man managed to break free from this control from time to time after mono opened the door. When the thin man tried to warn his young self about his fate, the eyes took control of him again and had him kidnap six in order for her to be taken to the tower to act as bait to lure mono. When mono fought the thin man, the thin man was back in control of himself and tried to stop mono from going to the tower, but by then, it was too late, mono already had his sights set on rescuing six from the tower and destroyed his future self without ever knowing it. In the final moment between mono and six, the eye entity forced six to succumb to her evil side in order to have her let go of mono. When mono fell to the bottom, it was the eye entity itself that led him to a chair to sit on, the minute mono sat on the chair was the moment the eye entity took control of him and made him the thin man, continuing the broadcast in the city and the world. When six exits the tv and sees shadow six she is now completely under the influence of shadow six (aka her dark side) and can no longer fight it, when shadow six looks at the maw ad, six goes back to the maw and becomes the new lady, restoring the maw to its functioning state and resulting in a new mono and six to manifest in the world, continuing the horrible cycle all over again. 6. The soul theory where we believe that sixes soul was ripped in half when she was in the tower, and that in the final moments between her and mono, her evil side began to take over as her good side was being separated from her. When she came out of the tv, we were wondering if she was already transported to the maw by the tower and that the ad on the floor was placed there to tell us that the maw is where she is at now or will be headed. In the maw she is constantly trying to satisfy a hunger that keeps getting worse, but now we believe that that hunger came from her trying to satisfy an emptiness inside her, that emptiness being her missing soul. In the comics it is stated that six has no memory of where she came from. A lot of us are starting to believe that when her soul was ripped from her body, it erased her memories of mono and the pale city. That the chair, the eyes, the TVs, and everything else that we see on the maw were not only there to tell us about the existence of the thin man and the rest of the world, but to remind six about mono and the events that happened in the pale city. When six absorbed the ladys powers, it was those powers that finally allowed six to reunited with her other half, If what we theorize is true and if the guests of the maw really do come from the city like we believe, then it’s possible that six will return to the city now that she is no longer powerless and can actually fight off the creatures of the world like mono did. 7. The dream theory where we believe the entire game was actually the memories of the thin man played in a loop. The time loop we believed was occurring is actually a dream being repeated over and over again. We believe that the thin man is being manipulated into a mindless state by the eye entity in order to make him easier to use, that is why he is always sitting in a chair, he is kept in a dreamlike state to prevent him from fighting back and is only ever used to walk among the rest of the population when it is needed. In his dream, the thin man thinks about all the events that lead up to him sitting in the chair. We believe the thin man that was chasing mono in the dream was actually a manifestation of his fear, the fear of becoming a horrible grown up. That similarly to how six was changed into a monstrous form, the thin is the monstrous form of mono. Mono now sits in the tower in this form, waiting to be freed by someone as he continues to dream a nightmare. we are still coming up with theories, but so far no matter what we come up with there is one thing that practically everyone seems to agree on. The loop/cycle/paradox needs to be broken, six needs to break free from the all seeing eye (possibly even shadow six) and go back to the tower with the ladys powers in hand, she must free mono from his prison and reunite with him in order to fight the eye entity in the tower together, they must destroy it and put an end to the horrible world they live in
@@Lukce18 I actually already have it written down, I just copy and paste it to comments. But I do update the info anytime I can, whenever other theorists and I make more and more analysis and theories that help explain everything in the game. I’m mainly trying to get this info to as many comment sections and youtubers as I can in order to prevent players and other people from getting angry, upset or even depressed over a misunderstood ending which could make them abandon the games entirely and even lead them to hate the creators who made it
But by 6 dropping mono does NOT break the loop cuz he grows up again and becomes the TV guy. Something else I noticed mono is the TV guy but a much younger version so the TV guy has powers such as teleporting and sucking people into another dimension which is inside to radio tower so mono was able to use his powers before even growing up against an older version of himself to go help 6 and then 6 notices his face as the TV guy so she drops him. I think if there is a LNIII then we will probably be 6 trying to escape from TV guy(mono). Pls drop a like
@Smfurt I wander though the portal six went through does that mean she's back at the maw before she escaped? Cause shadow six showed up when she ate the runaway kid and shadow 6 appeared again in the sequel I mean if this series is all about being in a loop does that mean 6 has to escape the maw again? Sorry probably a shity theory but I think it's what in love about these games just trying to understand the story
I like the hunter theory it makes sense why he tries to shoot mono he’s also got bully kids in his traps outside. he’s put the family at the table eating dinner like he’s trying to make things seem normal for himself. He’s the only one to try and cover up his deformity with the sack on his head because maybe he’s still more human and not brainwashed like the other city people
I like this theory as well, maybe the mask he wears also helps avoid being trapped by the television. I can't wait for more, its all so interesting and twisted.
I feel like it can be a possibilty that every protagonist we play as is stuck ins a cycle/time loop. So there could be a chance that if LN3 comes out we could prevent from six betraying mono and eating the runaway kid but who knows.
I really didn't need that ending. I mean I know it's a dark little game, but I guess I was hoping for some closure with a silver lining. This was just soul crushing, and I'm kicking myself for getting so invested in the first game.

Hi folks, theories are discussed throughout the video during the set up and ending segments, and I PINPOINT where questions are raised which will help you understand why I came up with these theories, but the main THEORIES start from 5:37
I've a theory. Monster Six definitely still cared about Mono, you could see it. She didn't start attacking till he started attacking the thing that gave her comfort in the first place. The music box. She even tried to show Mono it like a child would show their friend their toy. What if at the end, Six felt betrayed and so feeling that their bond was destroyed she just....let him go
I really think mono let go on purpose. He ate children remains. Six ate a gnome. Nobody in this game is a good person. Mono probably wanted power just like six
I think the Hunter is not possessed because of the lack of TVs in his level. Its also unlikely he's being possessed cause he seems to be on an island separate from the pale city. He either went insane from being alone for so long or like he said the hunter assumed Six and Mono were out for him. I do find it interesting that the Hunter traps Six instead of just killing her out right though especially since he doesn't seem to mind killing Mono.
Devs said it was a sequel. The secret ending made it look like a prequel, but it’s actually a sequel. Glitched Six is telling Six to back to the Maw so she can keep continuing the time loop. :3
Thoughts: Yes - the tower treats time differently. (like mono, how long in local time, did it take Six to grow into monster Six? - years maybe?). TV can also be time portals Gnomes - There are Gnomes in the Attic of the Hunter's house, but as mono, there's a specific way to find them and they lead to a gnome hat. Therefore, "Six" may have seen the Gnomes in the hunters house (if this was a prequel) Is she REALLY Six? the absence of powers? it would fit in very very easily if this was a prequel and she is SIX and goes to the Maw after the events of LN II Very Little Nightmares then - is the other girl in white REALLY Six? we dont actually see her put on the raincoat even in the after credits scene. We just assume she does. The Drop betrayal - prequel / sequel argument aside - if this Really is Six, maybe she's doing an Eren Jaeger and wants to destroy this Lovecraftian world because she's sick and tired of the world trying to eat her? Realizing that Mono is to become the Thin Man or a Thin Man successor - she decides to off him too?
Six dropping Mono is kinda counter productive to preventing another Thin Man from appearing when him getting stuck within the Eye Entity is what actually lead him to be one. Maybe the time loop would have been broken if Mono actually escaped instead.
So my Thoughts about the Timeline is Six uses a Hot Air Balloon to get to the Nest but when she's about to escape she fell down to the Sea at the Bottom of the Nest Now the other Character took her Raincoat and the same mission is to get to the Signal Tower but it looks like she didn't make it Six survived the Fall from the Nest and she make it to the Forest later she got Kidnapped by the Hunter and Locked up to the Hunter's House, this is why she doesn't have her Raincoat Mono manage to save Six multiple Times, from the House, School, the City and in the Signal Tower Some theories says that the only Way Six can save Mono from his Hunger(cuz Six can Eat Mono) is by Letting him Go, she is Scared though, she is Scared to get stuck in the Signal Tower, so instead of Sacrificing herself she Sacrifice Mono In the Secret Ending Six survived and Got out in the Signal Tower and came out from a TV She then wander around the City now she Got Kidnapped by the Ferryman and Delivered her to the Maw, she is Either Kidnapped or She wants to go there since Shadow Six Look at the Poster of the Maw I dunno, it's just Theory
When we find Six in the Signal Tower, we see a distorded version of her as an adult and not the real one, Six is suposed to grow as The Lady, and after destroying her musical box she turns to normal. I don't think the Signal Tower treats or control time
Theory: Six is the mass of eyes, consuming everything. She ends up being in a time loop, same as Mono. When that time loop starts and ends is up for debate. maybe in the dlc, or more likely the third game comes out.
They do say that Mono stuck in the Timeloop but the thing is if he's in the Timeloop why can't the Thin Man predict the future actions of Mono, only the Thin Man knows what will Mono do Yeah it's kinda Breaking that Theory bcuz of Thin Man prediction s
@@koi-5ab625 I don't know maybe he forgot It could be a long time but the thing Is we don't exactly know what the time Is he could had just grew In a very short amount of time because the time is distorted each mono that goes the eye becomes becomes more powerfull
The thing is, if the devs said it was a sequel, theirs unfilled story as to how six got into the house, lost her raincoat, ect. So we might have to just wait for dlc. But I really think it’s a prequel. It would make more sense, as when you find sixes raincoat you get a “true colors” achievement, showing you that’s how she found her jacket. Also it’s a theory that it’s a time loop and it that’s the case it’s a prequel/ sequel/ paradox. Pretty cool and deep either way, the game has everyone thinking.
It's a little bit confusing because there was an interview with the devs and they made it clear that LN 2 was a sequel not a prequel. We just need to wait and see the full story timeline from the devs
The headbag character is a victim and is stuck in a loop bcoz six didn't let him out of the world. Tall guy is the adult version of baghead. So basically after being trapped in that world and finally growing up he was still unable to escape so he thought stopping his younger from saving six is the only way to get out of this loop. That's why he first took six then tried his best to stop himself from going further. Also we can see that six has been wicked minded through out the gameplay, six enjoyed hurting others and is selfish which continued in the 1st part where six killed people to gain energy and to be powerful. After finally finding the exit six left the baghead character without whom six could never exit. The baghead waited and waited, tried to break the loop. In both endings we can see the consequence of six or the beginning of 1st part, BUT baghead's fate is the same meaning it was destined that baghead will be stuck and maybe will not be able to save himself free. Personally I feel bad for baghead, THERE MUST BE A NEW PART WHERE THEY HAVE SHOWN BAGHEAD IS FINALLY FREE. six betrayed him soso bad. six only helped him until finally found an exit, just to leave him behind like a selfish.
Has no one notice in very little nightmare the protagonist was in a hot air balloon I think and no has discussed about it maybe there is another Prequel also in little nightmare the chef women sings a song about the Ferryman Waxbellman and Veronica and in the distorted room with Six we see a girl with her face crossed out and maybe and hopefully we find out who Veronica is
It is 300% a prequel Must've been changed during development Cuz we see shadow Six be created, the coat found again, the hunger appear for the 1st time, and the tease of six going to the Maw Also, this may be a reach...but the hunter's den is reachable via raft...guess what game ends with Six in a raft? Timeline goes VLN, LN2 and LN And there is enrichment for it!! Cuz now we know Thin Man freed himself again after the secret ending of LN
It would be so nice if in little night mares 3 would be the story that 6 breaks the time loop of mono and saves him the they are going to find out how to get out of the nightmare
@@GrooveBot766 but maybe she isn't maybe she done that bcs she knew that she would kill him if he saved him but know he is living (but in the time loop) to save him one day
my theory is as follows little nightmares II is a loop and takes place after the first game(the devs have already confirmed this) . Six after she crosses the portal at the end of the game she actually goes back in time (what proves this is the fact that she stops in the same room where the mono interacts with the TV for the first time, if you notice when you play with mono you will see that there is no poster of the maw on the floor) .Once six starts feeling hungry she decides to go to the maw and the first game happens, after leaving the maw events happen where she loses her coat and ends up at forest, where there she finds a familiar figure, a figure whose she had left to die, mono, and it is at that moment that she is captured by the hunter (an event that happens in the comic, what I think proves this thought is the fact of her be so impressed to find the mono) Mono seeing that six needs help he goes to the hunter's hut and rescues her, and it is at that moment that she regrets and decides to follow him in order to prevent him from suffering the same fate in future (a theory of mine regarding glitch remains is that such instead they represent memories, but this is uncertain but it would explain the fact that maybe six when she is caught by the thin man she forgets about the events she spent with mono and causing her to perpetuate the loop) another thing that proves that little nightmares II is a loop, which after the train crash, several shadow six appear showing that as the loop happens and six is caught by the thin man a new shadow six is created. This even matches the game's synopsis that states that the six is disappearing because as the loop restarts a part of it is separated. Another thing about the synopsis that speaks of a certain cruel fate before six, perhaps refers to the fact that she becomes a glitch remain, not that of becoming a monster, but of becoming a shadow six. i used the google translate by the way edit : I messed up a little bit, actually at the end of the game when six passes through the portal, she appears in the room where the thin man first appears
4:04 On the left side, there is a briefcase the looks exactly the same as the one in Little Nightmares 1 when you first start the game, you can see that six was in the briefcase.
This theory could very well be ground breaking; What if Six is being controlled by the gnome (Runaway kid). That could explain why the shadow casted is that of a gnome at the very end of Little nightmares 2. Think on it for a second, when "six" devoured the lady of the maw, she had absorbed her essence (so to speak) and gained her abilities. Maybe the same happened when six had devoured the Runaway Kid, leaving "The Real Six" trapped in the subconscious, only being able to manifest in a shadowy figure resembling her who she once were. (Which explains the the shadow figure looking at the maw, it's were she lost her physical form) Also remember when the gnomes were standing in front of the furnace and the Shadow's casted were that of children. It showed us that the gnomes were once children. "Six's" shadow in the cutscene is that of a gnome.... Perhaps the one she had devoured in the Little nightmares game, The Runaway Kid.
I'm not sure if this is true, but what if it all stands for a boring childhood. They live a town where so little interesting things happen, everyone is obsessed with their tv. Six letting go of mono at the end, represents her leaving the town, leaving mono to grow up into the bland people they grew up with
i think both mono and six became their worst nightmare, let me explain real quick, mono became the Thin Man bc he's the first one who really made him feel fear, and six became the janitor bc he is the one who made her feel fear, i think it's as simple as that, the game is called Little Nightmares after all. edit: the janitor is the first boss you see in Little Nightmares (the first game) second edit: i think six let mono fall to save him, indeed, six does have hunger issues and will eat whatever she can. (or whoever)
I really think mono let go on purpose. He ate children remains. Six ate a gnome. Nobody in this game is a good person. Mono probably wanted power just like six
Also, something I noticed (I don't know if anyone has pointed it out yet), Monster Six was sitting on a suitcase, the exact same one she wakes up in at the beginning of LN1, photos on the inside of the lid and all (just a bit smushed). Wouldn't that suggest it's a sequel???
well, i heard somewhere or in an interview that the new lady or should i say "governess" or lady with the mask is *not* Six. It was confirmed on an interview *like i said*. there is a chance that six let go of mono because six knew that if she became hungry. She will eat anything to satisfy her own hunger. If its a prequel, then The little nightmares 1 is where she *is* in an influence of shadow six but If its a sequel then theres a chance that six knows what will happened if Mono survived. As I was saying from the lady theory is because We saw a picture of the lady and a child, So it might be true that six is the lady's daughter. And there might be no prequel or sequel. The little nightmares 1 is the prequel AND the sequel of the story making the little nightmares 2 the sequel and the prequel of it. I dont know. Six knows what will happen to mono (if its a sequel) Because of what happened to seven and six in the sausage scene where She eats the nome. theres also a chance that six realized who she ate (which is seven), thats why she let go of mono for his own sake. And the eye/s is us representing us watching them or its just a left mystery for us to be confused at since there are games and movies has a unanswered mysteries like steven universe: the chest on lions mane which is unanswered.
For those of you wondering if this is a prequel or sequel, keep this in mind while you theories about the story. The senior narrative designer Dave Mervik for little nightmares 2 told Polygon that this is a true “sequel”. He said that it’s “following up after the events of Six escaping the Maw and she joins Mono on a journey to the signal tower”.
It has to be a prequel,, she doesn't have her dark powers at all! Plus she doesn't have her raincoat yet, all signs points to prequel. The senior designer could be lying before release to shock us when we actually play it. ALso if you get the secret ending, she gets her first hunger pain, which leads her to going to the MAW.
@@gliver2549 She doesn’t have it because the signal tower was blocking it. The little nightmares Twitter page even posted that it was a “true sequel” today. And it is very rare if ever a thing that a studio does. They either dodge the question or they tell the truth. If they were to lie about a game then it would be false advertisement witch is illegal. And don’t think I haven’t played it and seen the ending myself. You really expect the answer to everything in a little nightmares game to be that straight forward? You gotta be kidding, right? All of that in the secret ending is just a hint at her going back there to take over and if the time loop theory is to be believed thanks to Mono becoming the thin man, then Six might become the lady. If you truly think that this is a prequel after them now stating multiple times that it’s a sequel and it takes place after the events of the first game, then I feel truly sorry for you.
@@gliver2549 if that’s all you have to say then it’s pretty obvious that you don’t have enough knowledge about the little nightmares world to create a valid argument. I think it’s time for you to start looking at the bigger picture and take every piece of info into consideration before coming to any conclusions.
@@lostsouls7186 Ok i'm gonna lay out all the evidence why this is a prequel, and if all these evidence doesn't convince you then you need to learn to know that people can lie to protect the plot twist of a story. Much like the actor John Snow who said he is dead and not coming back, but comes back in the next season of game of thrones. Its not false advertisement if it relates to the story. 1. Six does not have her hunger problems. 2. She does not have her shadow version of herself. 3. She does not have her powers. 4. Did she just throw away her raincoat? And get it back later on? 5. Why the hell would she go back to the maw if she already absorbed everyone at the maw? 6. The director of the game can lie about the story and subvert it if they want, they are not gonna get sued lol.
the hunter might be a mono that is the sum of mono who was able to escape the time-loop and captured six to try to stop the time-loop. that is why mono is headed towards six in the first place. because he knows
Hhmm, that's kinda weird, and strange, and… weird… uhh but i think so too, that is pretty cool, but the thing is his Killing himself, also how will he know it and how did the Hunter got out… how did the Hunter know Six will betray Mono when he hasn't been there, but your theory is Kinda Real tho👌👌👌
I'm kinda convinced 2 is a prequel rather than a time loop (could be a loop for Mono and the Thin Man, but not for Six) as this handily explains where Six got both her hunger pangs as a monster transformation from within the Signal and "Dark Six" as whatever was left behind of her when the Thin Man took her, furthered by her apparently learning about the Maw from the poster on the ground in the secret ending and apparently being set in the same city where the Ferryman found her in the prequel comic.
Do you guys remember the patient we had to cut of his live support to get past the doctor? He didn't have arms did he? Maybe that was the janitor 😱😱😱 that would explain why the doctor cared so much about him and why the mask of the janitor was seen in Little Nightmares 2. That would also support that its a sequel. DO YOU THINK SO TOO? 😱😱
I think Thin Man is older Mono, stuck in a cycle, and at one point, after growing locked in that cycle he ended it by hanging himself, and is the hanging man six walks by in the first game
Well forget the theory, i just hope that in little nightmare 3, after getting the lady's power ,Six will be able to safe Mono from the time loop. Back at little nightmare 1 ,I 've seen a picture of 5 woman ,The Lady was in one of them, so..... there maybe a reason after Six's name?
Yea I’m hyped for the video I’m having my hypothesis about that mind blown ending btw your videos are super nice to watch 👍🏻👍🏻 keep it up and I feel bad for Mono why six
thanks, I have some theories about why 6 drops mono, unfortunately they're not very happy, ill touch on those in this video, and expand on it in a video for tomorrow :D
Do you think the thin man gave Six the giant music box? When Mono finds her in the hunters basement she is also playing with it. Maybe Thinman knew this from when he was Mono and now he uses it to passify her while he keeps her trapped in the tower. Here's another one, does anyone think the hunter captured Six for the thinman? But because of the time loop Mono always tries rescue Six insteadof delivering her to .him.
I think this game is actually a sequel. There are some clues that point to it being a prequel (like the raincoat) but there are also clues that point to it being a sequel (other that the interview). The first big clues for me is the more sadistic and guarded nature of Six. Six has always been a little hard core, but her sadistic and seemingly traumatized behavior tells me that she has been through a lot more than being locked in a room. The second clue is in the room where we first find monster Six there is a suitcase bed in the corner where the hammer is that is identical to her bed on the Maw. If this room is taking from her memories then it could only be there if she has already been to the Maw. The raincoat and the poster of the Maw could ether be clue of a prequel or just a fan service coincidence, but the memory of the bed seems very hard to explain away. Here's my theory. Mono isn't actually the Thin Man but his successor. A child born ether with the powers he has or from the signal towers itself. After Mono defeats his predecessor, the tower (which is an eldritch entity of some kind) attempts to capture him in order to replace the loss of the Thin Man. As for Six's story, I believe that her story is that of trying to fight destiny and then later surrendering to it. I believe that in consuming the Lady, Six was on the path to become her successor (paralleling Mono's relation to the Thin Man). I think that Six left the Maw in rejection of this destiny and started a journey towards the Signal Tower (before getting caught) ether to find answers or to put an end to her fate. After being abducted and put at the mercy of the signal entity, she learns the truth about herself and Mono. This is represented by her humming the Lady's melody as she walks thru the portal. She's ready to accept her fate and return to the Maw as the new Lady. You also notice that when she held Mono at the end that it was the first time she has ever seen his face up close without a mask. She likely recognized his face as that of the Thin Man and chose to let him go.
This is the best explanation but theirs one more thing. If it’s a sequel and the hunter just took her jacket or whatever, how did it end up where she found it. Maybe dlc will explain but it seems like it was the first time she wore the coat
@@lugaro4448 It's probably not the same coat. In the original LN comic we see Six with a bunch of other children with similar raincoats. It's not outside the realm of possibility that other raincoats exist. After all, we see one in Very Little Nightmares where Six doesn't have a raincoat ether.
My theory of why is the Thin Man in the first game is that Mono didn't really grow up, the Signal Tower distorded and transformed him just like Six when she has kidnaped by the original Thin Man
(I've shared this around a lot to get other's ideas) I had an idea, this doesnt cover everything but the Veronica Song. I think it alluded to the ending of LN2. What if its backwards, not the song but the order. I'm not sayin six's name is actually veronica, but the veronica is representing her. "Sent on a ferry above our sea" may refer to mono and six on that door sailing out to the city, not fully sure "Run run here comes veronica" could be how six took mono from the TV before she was taken "Come come he cut veronica" being thin man taking six "Come fun here comes veronica" could be mono saving six from the tower. Skip, "no more bellman among the sea. Hello, hello, we are lonely" and"my way, my way And you'll see a halo ascending above our sea." Since I cant explain that yet. "Help her help her and you'll see" being Mono going to help six and seeing her being distorted by the tower "Dont leave me" being mono struggling to catch up with six as they escape "He hung he hung" being mono hanging from the ledge by six holding onto him "Come with me oh no no" is six making it look like mono will be goin with until she lets go of him And finally "having a nightmare in a boat" is a fast forward to six abordt the maw It got holes but I really like the idea, please see this ^^
Never give up keep moving forward . I seen most youtubers quit after not getting a boom in viewership and subs .Keep up the good work .Humble beginning .
my theory is six is going to break the loop cause she saw the future when she turned. she saw everything that will happen. in other words, she became aware the loop was a thing. she knows she has to break the loop, but needs ways to, by keeping mono with her, although he might make her want revenge on him, he will never be able to use the power he has. her power is to drain the life force of things she eats. this would explain why she let him go( so he can get to his full power and he can break the loop) it also explains why six actually went to get on the boat, she knew of the power of her (whole sone say her mother others say is her) but it would make more sense for her to go along with the loop, kill her mother/self, and now that she’s aware of the loop, it is possible for her to end it. cause think about it, a lot of people say she killed him for breaking his music box, or cause she saw the old man and realized they looked alike. but that’s stupid. i guess you can also say that it is stupid for her to not just keep him, but in such a weaker state there probably isn’t anything they can do to end the loop. they need to get to there destined paths, take that power, and now they both have her power, which is why she immediately left the boat, she doesn’t need to be there anymore. now they both have the power, the power that might just end the loop. yea, i kinda took this off of the call of duty zombies timeline, but that doesn’t matter
Also, about the drawing in the room Six is in the drawings, the one with the gnome holding friends. There’s one gnome in the Hunter’s house, I think in the attic. He’s hard to find but I saw him when I was watching SuperhorrorBro play it in first person with Mono. It’s really cool.
you meant prequel Sequel: before the product (in this case the sequel is Very Little Nightmares/VLN) Prequel: after the product (in this case the prequel is Little Nightmares 2/LN2)
Theory: Six's music-box represents her innocence, a memory, or something that helps her cope despite all the traumatic things she has experienced. But when Mono smashes it in the signal tower(and note that she is passive towards Mono before Mono hits it), it is destroyed, and she becomes the cold vampiric being we meet in the first game. The music box is her comfort/escape, just as The Lady's beauty is hers(totally some Dorian Grey shit going on with her), food is ti the guests of The Maw, TV is to The Viewers, etc. Wonder if she and Mono can be saved, if The Writhing Abyss(or the fleshy eyeball monster) is dealt with somehow.
It’s a reference to Schrodinger’s Equation. Light acting as both a particle and a wave. Mono is the particle, hence the name. The Thin Man is the wave and, as such waxes and wanes with the frequency and since frequencies exist outside of time, so does the Thin Man. He allows Mono to destroy him because if Mono does not, he will never exist, and if he never exists, he can never take his revenge on Six. And on and on it goes, forever.
I don’t think mono is THE thin man but more of an heir. If it was mono why would he kidnap six and lead his younger self into the tower knowing his fate? He wouldn’t, it is said mono is a very unique kid and when he puts his mind to something he won’t quit. I think that because six drops mono she is saving him from her evil uncontrollable hunger that awakens when she leaves, and because mono is stuck, the tower uses its weird powers to turn mono into the next generation of the thin man
So here's my theory: Mono betrayed Six first. Hear me out. At the start, very start, Six is scene trapped inside the Hunter's cabin playing a music box. This music comes to a sudden and abrupt halt when Mono busts down that door. That jail to the outside world. In those opening moments, Mono extends his hand... and Six refuses. Rightfully so from her perspective, she's free! There was no reason to trust him. She was getting outta there. Flash forward some, we're at the school. Six gets ambushed by Bullies, and Mono fights through them to save her. He knocks her loose, and once again Mono offers his hand for a second time... only this time, she accepts it. Reluctantly, at first, but this moment, this key moment, told Six that his hand was one she could trust. That was the moment Six put her faith in someone other than herself. Rush forward some more and we're with the Thin Man. Mono, after so many attempts, finally opens the door and essentially unleashes the Nightmare. This is where things take a turn. See up to this point, the bond Mono and Six share is powerful, it's grown. They've spent sometime together by now and have grown to trust one another, especially in Six's case. It was Mono who more or less intiated this trusting relationship, but eventually it became mutual. So when Six pulls Mono away yet again, things are different. No longer does she simply look at him and wait for him to keep going. No, this time is different. This time, Six extends her hand to Mono. And this marks the beginning of the end. Six could have ran. Could have bolted immediately and left Mono right there. But in spite of the impending danger of the Thin Man creeping towards the TV, she stays and practically pleads for him to come with her, to run with her far away. She pleads with him to take her hand... and Mono doesn't. He doesn't refuse, not outright, but he does not expressly run as soon as possible. To Six, this may be a red flag, but considering the circumstances, she may have been willing to let it go. Then we get to the room. Mono and Six run back to the room. Six hides underneath the table, Mono goes under the bed. But it's different. He's scared, he's terrified. Yet when the Thin Man goes to take Six, she cries for help. In spite of her experience, she goes to him for help. In those few moments she has left, she looks towards the hand that offered itself to her and said "Trust me". The hand that broke her out and saved her. The hand that she could trust. Six, once more, extends her hand to that very same hand... and once again, gets nothing. That, right there, told Six that Mono, for all his help, was unreliable. Someone who would, eventually, abandon and leave her just as he did in the time where she needed him more than ever. In Six's mind, all her trust, all her faith, put squarely in the one person she thought to trust, was betrayed. Hence, as we get to the end, Six betrays Mono. When he needs her most, in his hour of greatest need, she looks at him and returns the favour. Six... let's go of Mono. The boss fights, the trails of Mono saving Six, none of that helped correct the fact that she was betrayed first by someone she was taught to trust. And in doing so, those darker urges, came back to claim what was left of her, and perhaps even a notion of guilt at betraying Mono ultimately lead up to her heading into The Maw.
Ummm, Great argument but then on the other hand. Six is still the bad guy in the end for continuing is endless loop, but I agree with your logic though
@Mob Master Well since the little nightmares series started, she had no hesitation to kill anyone. Example: in very little nightmares at the ending she pushed a bolder on the pretender, in Little nightmares there's also a couple. The rat in the trap and lets not forget the gnome and the lady at the end. I didn't see the comics so I guess they're clean. Little nightmares 2, the bully that was in the corner and she tried to kill mono a couple times as the monster and that rage of him breaking her music box stayed with her when she turned back, hence betraying him in the end.
@Mob Master Oh sorry, I totally dodged the question. The loop? I think since see was in the signal tower she must have had a link to its mind since the tower created what she cherished the most to keep her there( The music box) and if it could see hers, why can't it also work the other way around. The viewers are probably kept in between the links leaving their bodies powerless and craving the transmission to keep in contact with the signal tower. Yeah but I honestly have no clue how the story line goes so...IDK
Yea you’re taking an L on this theory. Mono Saves Six so many times, so there is no reason Six wouldn’t trust him. Mono even came back to save Six. Six is just a bad person to begin with. From the violent immoral things she did in the first game and then her showing psychopathic tendencies in this one, Six is just bad and chose to save herself out of selfishness.
You didn't mention the subtle dark things six did (after killing people?) like when she was warming to the fire that was incinerating the doctor. I remember her doing other subtle dark things but can't remember the details.
Idk if you went over this, but I'm just letting out a thought, (currently watching all the Little Nightmares Videos on your Channel) but what if it starts with the Nest then the little girl after escaping, goes to land where she is then captured by the hunter, and somehow ends up in the maw. Using the rain coat as reference. Idk just an idea.
I hope the DLC is playing as the Girl In the Raincoat and searching your way through the nest like in Very Little Nightmares, and the ending of the DLC shows how the raincoat ended up in Pale City.
I have a little theory, as soon as six is taken, that glitch is her soul, and the monster version is her slowly corrupting, the music box isn't anything bad, it's the same one we see when we first see her in little nightmares 2, her holding it is her trying to stay and hold onto her life, we think we're saving her by destroying it, but we're doing the opposite, we're practically erasing her, and when her body is turned back to normal, it's someone else's soul in her body, when she grabs onto mono, she holds him differently, the other times she try to pick him up, she tries with all her might, but with the betray one, she couldn't care less, not to mention the hunger starts as soon as the possessed six escapes, and glitch six, the real six is staring at the possessed six
I'm sure someone already said this, but I think Mono is the hanging man at the beginning of the first Little Nightmares. The clothes are the same and there is the same hat from the thin man lying in the chair. Maybe it is a never-ending time loop due to some connection with 6 or the thin man's desire for revenge. Idk. Maybe Mono became cognizant of the never ending loop and decided to finally put the loop to an end by killing himself.
In the Little Nightmares universe, the signal emitted by the Tower would have the same effect on humans as the resonant wave emitted by the Resonator, a device that appears in a tale by Howard Phillips Lovecraft, entitled "From Beyond". In short, the signal stimulates the pineal gland, enabling people to connect with an interdimensional reality.
Thin man is a celebrity in a TV, where he was watched by everybody. Six knew she would eat Mono when she was hungry, as suggested in the secret ending. So, Six just let Mono follow his profession. The ending is actually good for everyone.
What if it goes little nightmare 2 (where she first find the rain coat), very little nightmares (she losses the rain coat to seven and gets it back in the end), and then little nightmares where she keeps the rain coat on through the whole thing. This would also support the ending of little nightmares 1of the thin man (AKA the eye scene). During this part of the game six has to hid from the eye or shell get evaporated. And the ending credits might be the plot of little nightmares 3 where mono finally gets back at six
This game is so mind blowing like I can't have 1 true theory to describe it, But I do believe this game is a prequel to the original game, since Six had no coat until she found it at the middle of the city and she had no powers... what makes me confused the fact that I thought she wore the rain coat after the girl from VLN died in the ocean, I thought she picked it up back then but she obviously didn't... I'm so confused.... but I'm kind of sure the order of the games is as following: VLN,LN2.LN1 and we don't know whatever happened after Six killed the lady..
I literally finished watching Little Nightmares 1 full gameplay and Little Nightmares 2 also... Then watching the then ending explanation of both and now watching this video rn...
One thing I never understood was there is a painting of six in the lady's room WITH her raincoat. This would mean the painting was made after she got the raincoat. If six gets on the maw after the second game, why would the lady treat her with such special treatment if she is seen as just another kid? If six and the lady are related I feel like that painting wouldn't have her raincoat because why would there be a painting made of her after she was seen as a nuisance to the people of the maw. If the game is a sequel, maybe six lost her raincoat after being banished and the gnomes brought it to her, thats why we see sketches of the gnomes in the area where she finds the raincoat
Six is Eve, Mono is Adam - in order for Six to escape the tv (Eden), she has to sacrifice Mono. It's similar to Pinocchio: Six wants to be a real girl, not a dream. That's why when she finally escapes, her stomach grumbles, symbolizing her humanness.
I like it better that we can only have speculation because the devs won't spill real explanation. It means we can have our own interpretations not be ruined.
I think mono lives in a circle that's why tall mono (slinder man) attacked six because he wanted to save small mono (you) from taking the same path and ending up like him But when mono insist to save six and you get betrayed by her at the end mono realize that he won't be able to break the cycle so he just suicide 💔
If you watched TheGamingBeaver's Little Nightmare 2/LN2 videos then you should probably know by now that Six turned into the monster version of herself bc it was her own dream that she was having or she was in her own dream (now does some of the stuff in the video connect to what I am trying to explain and say?)
Your video is really useful! In my opinion Little Nightmares 2 is a very enigma. I have more questions than theories, such as: are the thin man and the hanging man the same person? And if he is, how and why is he in the maw, putting end at his life there?
what if he is the hang man because theres a chance that the thin man knows where six is, after all, theres a chance that the thin man saw something or realized something unexpected and kills himself for it? idk
at the end mono was the thin man because the city needs a body like when we kill the thin man 6 be a monster then when she get back to normal 6 mono becomes the monter btw that i thinks
it could also be possible why six dropped mono into the abyss is because she was just trying to protect mono. Six might have had experienced a serious hunger while they were hanging on the edge of the bridge maybe six remembered some fragments of her memories eating a gnome alive hence why six was greeted by her own hungry looking shadow at the end. But even if that was the case it was quite selfish of her to drop mono into the abyss where it could be the reason of his death. Clearly, I don't wanna see Six eating mono alive out of hunger.... The Hunter in the beginning is less likely but somewhat possible Mono himself who manage to break out of the loop that's why Six was just jailed instead of being killed. He recognizes Six and locked her up so the cycle ends but it didn't. Or... maybe... the yellow raincoat itself has six's identity so whoever wears it becomes six (??) weird shits.

Ur right wtf?!!?!
Finally someone that fucking gets it
Finaly someone else that points out its after she sees his face and eyes that she then lets him fall.
They NEED to make Little Nightmares 3, they cannot make the ending like that.
they are
agree
I want a little nightmares 3 where I slap Sasha with my long arms
You really think the ending is just Mono being betrayed and me surviving? Of corse they’re making a third
I’m still so confused
ok, so here's what I gathered after reading and watching a ton of theories and analysis from a ton of other people, do with this information in whatever way you see fit.
It is now believed that six did not betray mono because she wanted to, but because she had no other choice but to let him fall, the reason why? well, we have few things so far to explain this as well as the thin man time loop/cycle/paradox:
For starters, many of us are starting to realize that the true villain of the game is the eye monster in the tower, it is seen all throughout the world of little nightmares and is now for sure considered to be the source of all the madness in the world.
Now, here are the theories we came up with so far:
In the final moment, she took her revenge against mono for putting her in so much danger to begin with and for destroying the only comfort she had in the cruel world, her music box
We believe the thin man that was chasing mono in the dream was actually a
manifestation of his fear, the fear of becoming a horrible grown up.

Man part of me hopes there's a dlc where 6 breaks the loop I kinda want something that redeems the character considering she pulled a lion king kill
@Smfurt damn to bad :/
@Smfurt now I've read some theory's saying that 6 was protecting him from her hunger or that dark 6 had control of 6 and dropped him
But by 6 dropping mono does NOT break the loop cuz he grows up again and becomes the TV guy. Pls drop a like
@@malkfayeq6182 sounds good to me from what I understand the thin-man A.K.A. mono was trying to protect his younger self from 6's betrayal
He’s the only one to try and cover up his deformity with the sack on his head because maybe he’s still more human and not brainwashed like the other city people
I like this theory i might put it as a head canon for me
I like this theory as well, maybe the mask he wears also helps avoid being trapped by the television. I can't wait for more, its all so interesting and twisted.
please read my comment up there where i explain what i think and tell me what you think because i really what to understand this game
I'm still upset about the runaway kid who had eaten by six
Samee
Same, he offered Six the sausage and he got eaten. Six is full of betrayals though I don't know if we can really blame her though?
If you were a nome or mono, u wouldn’t be saying that.
@@jup1t3r62 It's like her hunger is overpowering her or something, is it her fault? I don't know if Six is evil or not, maybe she is
I feel like it can be a possibilty that every protagonist we play as is stuck ins a cycle/time loop. So there could be a chance that if LN3 comes out we could prevent from six betraying mono and eating the runaway kid but who knows.

Hi I can’t wait to watch
@Ticking Rocket me neither
Hi I Love little nightmares And The Theories
I wanted to see more of the Hunter :(
I just hope next game that they reunite she apologizes and everything is good. This is a joke btw.
Its a prequel tho.

It’s a prequel. Six was never in the maw, that’s why she has no powers. She gets the raincoat first, then other events happen.
Devs said that it was a sequel in a timeline sense sooooo
Devs said it was a sequel. The secret ending made it look like a prequel, but it’s actually a sequel. Glitched Six is telling Six to back to the Maw so she can keep continuing the time loop. :3
@Dot this was before I was too dumb. I now think like the game is not a prequel, nor even a sequel either because a time loop is going on.
Thoughts:
Yes - the tower treats time differently. (like mono, how long in local time, did it take Six to grow into monster Six? - years maybe?). TV can also be time portals
Gnomes - There are Gnomes in the Attic of the Hunter's house, but as mono, there's a specific way to find them and they lead to a gnome hat. Therefore, "Six" may have seen the Gnomes in the hunters house (if this was a prequel)
Is she REALLY Six? the absence of powers? it would fit in very very easily if this was a prequel and she is SIX and goes to the Maw after the events of LN II
Very Little Nightmares then - is the other girl in white REALLY Six? we dont actually see her put on the raincoat even in the after credits scene.
@@cybercybex i don't think she knew that's how he became the thin man or else she would've helped him up to make sure the thin man never existed
So my Thoughts about the Timeline is
Six uses a Hot Air Balloon to get to the Nest but when she's about to escape she fell down to the Sea at the Bottom of the Nest
Now the other Character took her Raincoat and the same mission is to get to the Signal Tower but it looks like she didn't make it
Six survived the Fall from the Nest and she make it to the Forest later she got Kidnapped by the Hunter and Locked up to the Hunter's House, this is why she doesn't have her Raincoat
Mono manage to save Six multiple Times, from the House, School, the City and in the Signal Tower
Some theories says that the only Way Six can save Mono from his Hunger(cuz Six can Eat Mono) is by Letting him Go, she is Scared though, she is Scared to get stuck in the Signal Tower, so instead of Sacrificing herself she Sacrifice Mono
In the Secret Ending Six survived and Got out in the Signal Tower and came out from a TV
She then wander around the City now she Got Kidnapped by the Ferryman and Delivered her to the Maw, she is Either Kidnapped or She wants to go there since Shadow Six Look at the Poster of the Maw
I dunno, it's just Theory
@@koi-5ab625 lmao
When we find Six in the Signal Tower, we see a distorded version of her as an adult and not the real one, Six is suposed to grow as The Lady, and after destroying her musical box she turns to normal. I don't think the Signal Tower treats or control time
Theory: Six is the mass of eyes, consuming everything. She ends up being in a time loop, same as Mono. When that time loop starts and ends is up for debate. maybe in the dlc, or more likely the third game comes out.
They do say that Mono stuck in the Timeloop but the thing is if he's in the Timeloop why can't the Thin Man predict the future actions of Mono, only the Thin Man knows what will Mono do
Yeah it's kinda Breaking that Theory bcuz of Thin Man prediction s

The thing is, if the devs said it was a sequel, theirs unfilled story as to how six got into the house, lost her raincoat, ect. So we might have to just wait for dlc. But I really think it’s a prequel. It would make more sense, as when you find sixes raincoat you get a “true colors” achievement, showing you that’s how she found her jacket. Also it’s a theory that it’s a time loop and it that’s the case it’s a prequel/ sequel/ paradox. Pretty cool and deep either way, the game has everyone thinking.
I still think Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel, not a sequel. =T
It's a little bit confusing because there was an interview with the devs and they made it clear that LN 2 was a sequel not a prequel. We just need to wait and see the full story timeline from the devs

Little Nightmares 2 is a sequel to it's mobile game Very Little Nightmares and a prequel to Little Nightmares
@@aclearbluesky2003 maybe they were just trying to confuse us? Like how Naughty Dog did to The last of us 2
The headbag character is a victim and is stuck in a loop bcoz six didn't let him out of the world.

@@GrooveBot766 but maybe she isn't maybe she done that bcs she knew that she would kill him if he saved him but know he is living (but in the time loop) to save him one day
my theory is as follows
little nightmares II is a loop and takes place after the first game(the devs have already confirmed this) . Another thing about the synopsis that speaks of a certain cruel fate before six, perhaps refers to the fact that she becomes a glitch remain, not that of becoming a monster, but of becoming a shadow six.
i used the google translate by the way
edit : I messed up a little bit, actually at the end of the game when six passes through the portal, she appears in the room where the thin man first appears
same theory I got in my mind
4:04 On the left side, there is a briefcase the looks exactly the same as the one in Little Nightmares 1 when you first start the game, you can see that six was in the briefcase.
This theory could very well be ground breaking;
What if Six is being controlled by the gnome (Runaway kid).
(Which explains the the shadow figure looking at the maw, it's were she lost her physical form)
Also remember when the gnomes were standing in front of the furnace and the Shadow's casted were that of children.
Six letting go of mono at the end, represents her leaving the town, leaving mono to grow up into the bland people they grew up with
i think both mono and six became their worst nightmare, let me explain real quick, mono became the Thin Man bc he's the first one who really made him feel fear, and six became the janitor bc he is the one who made her feel fear, i think it's as simple as that, the game is called Little Nightmares after all.
edit: the janitor is the first boss you see in Little Nightmares (the first game)
second edit: i think six let mono fall to save him, indeed, six does have hunger issues and will eat whatever she can. (or whoever)
My theory: Both of them are enemies at each other. They don't know it yet until the climax, hence the cycle keeps going.
BS
@@gliver2549
She doesn’t have it because the signal tower was blocking it.

@@lostsouls7186 Ok i'm gonna lay out all the evidence why this is a prequel, and if all these evidence doesn't convince you then you need to learn to know that people can lie to protect the plot twist of a story. 1. Six does not have her hunger problems.
2. She does not have her shadow version of herself.
3. She does not have her powers.
4. Did she just throw away her raincoat? And get it back later on?
5. Why the hell would she go back to the maw if she already absorbed everyone at the maw?
6. The director of the game can lie about the story and subvert it if they want, they are not gonna get sued lol.
the hunter might be a mono that is the sum of mono who was able to escape the time-loop and captured six to try to stop the time-loop. that is why mono is headed towards six in the first place. because he knows
and that's why the hunter wears a bag on his head
My boy Mono deserved better_
There is a gnome is the attic of the hunter's cabin its possible that is what six is referencing
My theory of why is the Thin Man in the first game is that Mono didn't really grow up, the Signal Tower distorded and transformed him just like Six when she has kidnaped by the original Thin Man
(I've shared this around a lot to get other's ideas)
I had an idea, this doesnt cover everything but the Veronica Song. I think it alluded to the ending of LN2. What if its backwards, not the song but the order. I'm not sayin six's name is actually veronica, but the veronica is representing her.
"Sent on a ferry above our sea" may refer to mono and six on that door sailing out to the city, not fully sure
"Run run here comes veronica" could be how six took mono from the TV before she was taken
"Come come he cut veronica" being thin man taking six
"Come fun here comes veronica" could be mono saving six from the tower.
Skip, "no more bellman among the sea.
Hello, hello, we are lonely" and"my way, my way And you'll see a halo ascending above our sea." Since I cant explain that yet.
"Help her help her and you'll see" being Mono going to help six and seeing her being distorted by the tower
"Dont leave me" being mono struggling to catch up with six as they escape
"He hung he hung" being mono hanging from the ledge by six holding onto him
"Come with me oh no no" is six making it look like mono will be goin with until she lets go of him
And finally "having a nightmare in a boat" is a fast forward to six abordt the maw
It got holes but I really like the idea, please see this ^^

What’s the background song at 5 minutes I haven’t heard it in ages and can’t remember the name!
my theory is six is going to break the loop cause she saw the future when she turned. she saw everything that will happen. in other words, she became aware the loop was a thing. she knows she has to break the loop, but needs ways to, by keeping mono with her, although he might make her want revenge on him, he will never be able to use the power he has. her power is to drain the life force of things she eats. this would explain why she let him go( so he can get to his full power and he can break the loop) it also explains why six actually went to get on the boat, she knew of the power of her (whole sone say her mother others say is her) but it would make more sense for her to go along with the loop, kill her mother/self, and now that she’s aware of the loop, it is possible for her to end it. cause think about it, a lot of people say she killed him for breaking his music box, or cause she saw the old man and realized they looked alike. but that’s stupid. i guess you can also say that it is stupid for her to not just keep him, but in such a weaker state there probably isn’t anything they can do to end the loop. they need to get to there destined paths, take that power, and now they both have her power, which is why she immediately left the boat, she doesn’t need to be there anymore. now they both have the power, the power that might just end the loop. yea, i kinda took this off of the call of duty zombies timeline, but that doesn’t matter
Also, about the drawing in the room Six is in the drawings, the one with the gnome holding friends. There’s one gnome in the Hunter’s house, I think in the attic. He’s hard to find but I saw him when I was watching SuperhorrorBro play it in first person with Mono. It’s really cool.

There's a theory that the Tower that the Tallman stay's in is outside of time, it has something to do with how radio signals work.
So, Six i'ts trapped too in a loop, becoming the lady? That would make sense if this game is treated as a sequel
It would be funny if they released a game called little nightmares 3 but its actually just little nightmares 1 renamed cuz of the time loop

9:00 there is a dlc called the nomes attic in little nightmares 2, I think the drawing of that nome on the wall is the nome from the attic
@@oibeanboi6929 Even so I hope they change her attitude in the new game, if there is ganna be one...
You didn't mention the subtle dark things six did (after killing people?) like when she was warming to the fire that was incinerating the doctor. I remember her doing other subtle dark things but can't remember the details.
is there gonna be video about nome’s attic dlc?
Idk if you went over this, but I'm just letting out a thought, (currently watching all the Little Nightmares Videos on your Channel) but what if it starts with the Nest then the little girl after escaping, goes to land where she is then captured by the hunter, and somehow ends up in the maw. Using the rain coat as reference. Idk just an idea.
I hope the DLC is playing as the Girl In the Raincoat and searching your way through the nest like in Very Little Nightmares, and the ending of the DLC shows how the raincoat ended up in Pale City.
We... the players... ARE the EYE(S).... it's us... think about it
I have a little theory, as soon as six is taken, that glitch is her soul, and the monster version is her slowly corrupting, the music box isn't anything bad, it's the same one we see when we first see her in little nightmares 2, her holding it is her trying to stay and hold onto her life, we think we're saving her by destroying it, but we're doing the opposite, we're practically erasing her, and when her body is turned back to normal, it's someone else's soul in her body, when she grabs onto mono, she holds him differently, the other times she try to pick him up, she tries with all her might, but with the betray one, she couldn't care less, not to mention the hunger starts as soon as the possessed six escapes, and glitch six, the real six is staring at the possessed six

9:11 weren’t there also gnomes in the hunters home as well in his attic?
In the Little Nightmares universe, the signal emitted by the Tower would have the same effect on humans as the resonant wave emitted by the Resonator, a device that appears in a tale by Howard Phillips Lovecraft, entitled "From Beyond".
In short, the signal stimulates the pineal gland, enabling people to connect with an interdimensional reality.
Outro music?
Is six evil or what? I dont know what to think of why she let go of my hand at the end of the game after all the things we did to save her.
Ughhh i can’t wait till little nightmare 3 😢
At 10:58 you can see the shadow on the floor from Six looks like tall mono with his hat :0
The first clue was him having powers to worm into television. Just like his future self
Also, I wonder why there name is six and mono.
I think mono lives in a circle that's why tall mono (slinder man) attacked six because he wanted to save small mono (you) from taking the same path and ending up like him
But when mono insist to save six and you get betrayed by her at the end mono realize that he won't be able to break the cycle so he just suicide 💔
Exactly
If you watched TheGamingBeaver's Little Nightmare 2/LN2 videos then you should probably know by now that Six turned into the monster version of herself bc it was her own dream that she was having or she was in her own dream (now does some of the stuff in the video connect to what I am trying to explain and say?)
Your video is really useful!
In my opinion Little Nightmares 2 is a very enigma. I have more questions than theories, such as: are the thin man and the hanging man the same person? And if he is, how and why is he in the maw, putting end at his life there?
what if he is the hang man because theres a chance that the thin man knows where six is, after all, theres a chance that the thin man saw something or realized something unexpected and kills himself for it? idk
I got very sad when Six ate the Nom because as u can see the Nom was offering food to her so cutely but Six ate him :(
All peoples corruption
Six: eating
Mono: idk
Gnome: none
Hunter: most likly none
Teacher: teaching
Doctor: healing
Viewers: idk
Janitor: not doing his job apparently
Chef: cooking
Guests: eating
Lady:making herself pretty and everyone else ugly
at the end mono was the thin man because the city needs a body like when we kill the thin man 6 be a monster then when she get back to normal 6 mono becomes the monter
btw that i thinks
it could also be possible why six dropped mono into the abyss is because she was just trying to protect mono.
