    One of the best versions I have yet seen, love the fact that it is the only one so far that is easily repaired.

      I would put a cap on the outer end of side handle to avoid a sore hand. Longer handle on each side w/cap for my larger hands.

      I took the wrap handle off my hammer drill it tightens as you screw in the handle. I put a chunk of rubber between the strap and main shaft to keep it from slipping and to give it a tighter fit.

    Nice pump. Looks very professional. I love it. I have a stainless steel pump that I bought online years ago. It probably will last me a life time. But this one is so nice that I'm going to have make one for myself. Keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing more of your videos. Wish you the greatest luck fishing!

    Great design...thanks for sharing this! The ONLY thing I'm changing is making the outer pvc body 4" to adhere to Oregon DF&W requirements for clam gun minimum diameter. ODF&W can be a"holes, so 4" keeps any issues from coming up if I happen to suck up a clam while pumping yabbies.

      Making 2 each of 2" and 4" as a broken tool ruins the effort of going 150 miles to the ocean, lol.

      2" is fine for ghost shrimp in Oregon.

      Sand shrimp occur at nearly all ocean beach areas of fine sand and mud's likely all over the world. Check online for Your area's sea life regulators and oceanic personnel.

    Why not just say what each part is?
    13:44 OMG it's terrible that you do not know how to use what you built! You should use long smooth pulls, toss sand plug to one side and check it then re-enter the hole with the plunger down and pull again. or go to the next burrow.
    1:55 I use a 2" rubber freeze plug from O'reileys auto parts (HELP!) section and a fender washer to replace larger plate.
    I make mine at least 3 feet long because I also use them to set my Rod Holders which are also 2-3" PVC and 5 feet long. If you hammer the rod holders in they go down about 12 inches, when I set them with my pump they go down 2 1/2 feet. I can leave them out when I go to sleep and they are still there in the morning no matter how far the tide comes in.
    There is already a hole in the lower T handle so all the holes you drilled are useless.

  • @ThienHeoBangDayThun
    @ThienHeoBangDayThun 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    what all the holes for ?

    • @1geemae
      @1geemae  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +ThienHeoBangDayThun Air holes !

    • @Manuel_Z_Kayaks
      @Manuel_Z_Kayaks 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That was a bad response!
      The air holes are so that as you pull the plunger up, the air can escape the main shaft otherwise the top piece woul either pop off or you could only pull it till the pressure in the main shaft got too great. All you need is one hole about 1/4"
