You said it! There has to be something we're missing. It has more to do with just trade value and popularity. But like you said, it's just unclear at the moment.
I know it's so hard creating a feud without a title. Because even if you have a rivalry you're unsure will start off well, just adding a title match to that feud will bump up the match rating. Still, in season 2 I'm going to try and add more women to the roster.

I feel like that happened because he asked for a crew upgrade in episode 3 and I accidentally clicked no when I was going to do it anyway...It was a frustrating departure for sure.

I honestly have no idea but wouldn't it make sense to use the special promotion card for a show you know will be terrible to prevent fan loss vs a good show? I'm not very familiar with mygm mode so unsure of ultimate strategy
What you're proposing isn't a bad strategy at all. But what my understanding of the card is special promotion will just get you extra fans in any case. I'm not even 100% myself as I'm still getting used to this year's version of MyGM

I'd suggest signing at least a few local talent to potentially build up that way you don't have to worry about injuries as much
I really like that idea. I think I'm going to put a focus on local talent in season two. Having a bigger roster on extreme difficulty is a must!

Why not try a promo switch buying a local talent that’s face and turn them heel that way you don’t have to look and spend extra money

You can get injured during interference. Happened to me last year and caught me off guard.
