Nice one looks great. Wish I'd seen this 6 months ago as I'm in the same position as you and was looking for a homebrew way to make an upscaled board. In the end i found someone selling the new version of the board for £10. However yours looks so cool and i like the flexibility to reuse it for advance hero quest style adventures.
How thick of MDF? Did you have any warping from the watered down PVA? Also, was that neoprene? I couldn’t quite tell. You said it wasn’t EVA foam right?
Ok, one answer at the time...but first I suggest you to re-watch the video with subtitles on, it could help 😅 -2,5 mm thick MDF -no warping, or just a Little but, when you put the black rubber sheet on the other side with the same quantity of pva glue, it returns perfectly straight. -I used rubber sheets, but also eva foam can be used, no worries man
nice and clean project. Also very cheap
Yup!
Basically created a “fog of war” for real. Very nicely done 👍🏼
Cool concept
Nicely done 😊
09:00 - Genius!
Very cool music!
Might you tell us the titles?
😃
NooOOOoooo! That's sacrilege! How could you do such a thing, let's see what magic you make. 😉
Phew! For a minute I thought you were cutting up the original board. 😉
That's an amazing idea 👏👌
Very good 😊
