This stream was absolutely unhinged and I loved every second of it, there so many hilarious moments, the perfect timed jumpscare, lo-fi broom close, the "STANLEY WILL BURN IN HELL" part, the video, the hole, you going insane, I could go on forever, probably one of the best streams you ever done, great job, Jim.
The part where the narrator said Cookie9 with all the seriousness he could muster, multiple times was the first thing to make me crack up in the new content.
Stanley Parable is genuinely one of the greatest games I ever played. You barely reached a half way point and it already blew my mind, so much content, so many different choices. It was incredibly fun. Thank you so much Phil, this was a blast. I hope you enjoy delux content as much as the main game

Massive, massive respect for playing the OG game first and not going into new content. It's, honestly, the clear superior part of the game (imo), as wild and hilarious as the deluxe content gets, it's not as tonally consistent and doesn't hit you the way the OG stuff does Plus, the new content is even better once you know all the OG endings

I hope you play The Beginner's Guide! It's another game by Davey Wreden. It's more of a walking sim (like Gone Home if you've ever heard of/played that) so you might not like the lack of traditional "gameplay", but it's a personal favorite of mine and I revisit it whenever I'm going through difficult points in my life. It's message hit me on a very personal level, and it's another game like Stanley Parable that you want to go in completely blind for, especially for the end.

Hey Phil, seeing as you love story/atmospheric-driven horror games, I think you would love Cry Of Fear! It's a free game on Steam, has about 8 hours of gameplay (32 if you decide to get all the endings), and is overall a fantastic experience. Definetly one of my all time favorite games.

Didn't you notice that it was the ONLY time the Narrator was content with deviating from the story? "Doing nothing". Really? Do you think a highly intelligent and complex person would be able to enjoy that? If there's no words no "content" as you see it, then it's just "nothing" to you, isn't it? Don't criticize what you don't understand. Don't blame somebody for their eudemonistic tendencies. Because anything you do: like video games, game development or even thinking could be discarded as "nothing" by someone else, no matter how important it is to you. Albeit, the Narrator is a fictional character, but, for some of us, he could be somebody to relate to. Additionally, I completely understand Stanley's resentment and bitterness towards a man that subjected him to mental end physical torture in so many instances of the story. That's the tragedy of the situation. There's no ending where they both get to be free (and happy).
