This is an awesome trail to do after work if you live close, did this with tool cache and coffee flats last night. Perfect little 18 mile loop after work to clear the mind. Can’t beat Idaho, just wish we had more people riding this, it’s getting over grown!
Cool ride. I hope to get to the forest soon. I find it funny that people think the only way to enjoy single track (or even ride on it) is on a supermodel anorexic two stroke. A heavy four stroke can do it all day. It just takes more effort. Kind of like a rolling gym day. Four stroke lives matter bro 😁
When did you get the beta? I really really considered one last year but worried it wouldn't have the power I want for mx so I went with a yz450fx instead. Which has a perfect amount of power for me but I'll always still wonder how the 500 beta was.
You made a great choice with the 450FX. Those things are awesome. I have been liking the Beta so far! I bought it late last summer, and it's been on a lot of awesome adventures already!
this trail looks awesome. questions for you. you seem to do a lot of solo rides. I just picked up my first bike and people have been giving me a ton of crap about riding solo. what safety precautions do you take when solo riding?
With a little setup this bike could be an awesome off-road bike. It would need to be dialed in, but definitely doable. I would get the 430 or 390, personally though (if i could only have one bike). The smaller boar bikes will feel lighter in the dirt.
@@RacerRed is it something about the characteristics that make them feel lighter in your opinion? I’ve looked at the specs and it’s only a 4 pound difference
@@kraigvanderwyk1153 absolutely, it’s all about moving engine mass. A 500 feels soooo much heavier than a 250 for this reason, even though they aren’t much different in terms of weight usually.
I'm not ok with atv's and sxs ruining single track. I did not start out disliking the ATV crowd, but I have come to literally despise them based on experience.

Fun ride and awesome shots with the drone at the end! I get my 2020 Beta 390RR-S in a few weeks. Cant wait to rip around on it!
Let me know how you like that 390! I heavily considered one of those for the lighter feel.
Sweet bikes ..riding 13 520rr and gotta say shes a keeper..
Looks like an awesome ride!! Way cool that you can do it all on the bike from house to mountains!
Beautiful place for riding!
Yeah, this is a really good one! The trails are hard to find in that area!
cool how you can control the 500 so well, doesn't seem too snappy like a WR450F or a CRF450rl
Awesome ride!! Wish I was there!!
It’s beautiful up there!
The lookout appears to be a great spot to campout!
Nick Fountain yeah, that whole area had amazing views and great spots to spend the night!
Dope spot
Operation Manhood yeah, it’s a good one!
Im thinking of getting this bike just wondering if this could be your only dirtbike? or would u need a dedicated dirtbike? Thanks for the content!

azdesertdog yeah, the Beta is no slouch by any means. It’s a little more work but I can get just about anywhere on it!
Carl, what qpp. are you using on your iPhone for guidance?

I normally just pack survival basics. I have a water filter, lighter, basic tools, and water. I have a phone on me as well. Thanks for commenting!
If u could only have this bike would it be enough of an off roader for u??

Rafe Natho I use OnX Off-road. It has been a game changer
@@RacerRed Thanks! Heading up to Pierce to see my Dad , never been there and plan on doing a lot of riding so this will help.
