This is a great video, loved everything from your logo and design to the way you concluded the video and brought everything together. I'm staying at this hotel next year and wanted to see a little more about it, and you gave me a great amount of detail and insight. Thank you very much! Looking forward to seeing where you go next :)

I would LOVE to see a review of you experiencing the two places I'm going to recommend because you do these reviews SO, SO well. You get everything. You don't miss any little detail!! At one resort, I stayed too early to see what might have been a real highlight, and I'd LOVE to see YOU do a review!!
I must say, you did a VERY informative video of the Hideaway at the Royalton St Lucia. It's much better than the video on the resort's website!
As for a next experience, I have traveled extensively for my career for 3+ decades, mostly abroad. I'd like to offer 2 places that really stick out in my mind. Both are considered luxury hotels but we're surprisingly inexpensive.
The first I went to on business and found the hotel and area so enjoyable (I was not expecting much at all!) that I returned on a pleasure trip with my teenage daughters (13yo) for a special, one-to-one, mother-daughter weekend.l (2 nights). First, due to the weather, I recommend going in the late Spring through the summer only. We went to Grand Rapids and stayed at the JW Marriott. The Hotel is considered 1 of 2 five star hotels in the very pleasant, safe downtown area. The hotel sits on the river that runs through the city. Within walking distance: The Gerald Ford Presidential Library (everyone should try to visit at least one presidential library -Im not a big Ford fan, but it was very interesting to see all of the relative Nixon items! & the "Oval Office" looks EXACTLY like it has for every President)
Also, w/in walking distance: every weekend there's an enormous Arts and Crafts type IDK, thing going on, where a hundred or more individual vendors bring their goods and display them. Some displays appear to be homemade goods and others seem to be more like resellers. Kind of an in-person EBay. There were entertainers walking around, like musicians, jugglers, just a random mix, and of course, food. I'm not an arts and crafts type of person, but I did actually enjoy it. Across the river directly behind the hotel (there is a walking bridge) is a large events building. There is a permanent display there and also a separate section for visiting events. While we were there, the "Bodies'" exhibit was going on. I live in metro Atlanta and had taken my 14 yr old daughter to "Bodies" in ATL. The tickets were $45. The *same* exhibit a year later in Grand Rapids was $15!! I cannot 100% recall the price for our riverfront room, but I believe it was $125/night. That was an amazing price at a JW Marriott -- that's considered to be in line w/Marriott's other 5 star chain, Ritz-Carlton. It's not the only JW I've stayed in and it's a tiny notch below RC but it's close.
We had a 5 star weekend on a 3 star budget. It was very enjoyable.
The second I'd like to recommend you go to and review is a place I decided to go to on a whim. I realized both of my daughters were going to both be gone at the same time one 3-day weekend and I'd be home alone. I decided to look online for hotel/resort deals. On a whim (thinking I couldn't afford it) I looked at the Ritz-Carlton in Cancun. Their website had a special available only on their website: You had to book online, prepay online and the room/dates were non-refundable and not able to be changed. I wanted to leave in 3 days. It worked for me. The rooms were $125/night. (Reg. $325+) The Club rooms were also in the special: $299/night (Reg $700+). I opted for the regular $125 room. However, when I checked in, a hotel representative quickly appeared personally escorted me to a somewhat "hidden" set of elevators. The elevator only had two choices: Floors 7 or 8. We went to the 7th. Where I was greeted with a hot towel and a flute of champagne. The hotel had randomly selected me for an upgrade to a room on the Club floors! Very nice. I believe I had the same type of room as a regular room (extraordinary rooms!! w/excellent amenities, full-sized bath products & all the right touches), but the club floors provided a complimentary full hot breakfast and a daily evening cocktail hour w/comp drinks and light appetizers. I slept too late for breakfast except one morning but only had coffee and a watermelon juice. (Not worth the price difference, imho).
I went into town and swam with the dolphins one day. On the next day, I went into the ocean in a shark cage w/a wetsuit. I fed shark from a spear that had chum on the end. I was DEATHLY FRIGHTENED of sharks, and I thought this would be a safe way to help me get past that. Nope. Not one little bit. I realized just how strong those sharks are. Even the smaller ones are strong as h***. Anyway. The hotel is the only turtle sanctuary in the Southern Hemisphere. Kinda Wow! I was there about a 3 weeks too early to watch the turtle eggs starte hatching!! I would LOVE to see a review of you experiencing that because you do these reviews SO, SO well. You get everything. You don't miss any little detail!! (I think I'm going to copy/paste that last sentence and make it my first sentence in my comment!!). The hotel also has a Michelin started chef that gives lesson to very small groups on a published schedule that guests can sign up to do. All the spots were filled since my trip was last minute.
    Sorry so long...

    Hi,
we are planning to go to the same hotel and just curious what's the difference between "adults only" and the other section with kids. Is it worthy to pay some extra $$$ for "adults only" and also do both share same beach or they are separated ?

Great review but, please confirm the room number arrangements because I'm seeing that the hideaway is buildings 1 &2 yet, the tv screen in your video displayed room # 3005 which leads that you were in building 3 however I do note that the view from the balcony was from building 1? What's up?? :)

Originally they put us in a room until our room was ready. We were only in that room for an hour or two before moving to building 1.
