I remember, first time i played this mission, the assssin had KO'd one of my soldiers and she had to be carried while being covered by Mox and Outrider with this badass track playing
When you're pinned down between Advent and the Lost, trying to secure a VIP. And then the Chosen shows up and knoks down your Grenadier. Sounds of battle only attracts more and more of the Lost. The Viper poisoned your Psionic and the Lost are already closing in on your position, some of them are already climbing on the walls to get to your Reaper. Your men are pinned down, but they are still fighting. In time you managed to get rid of the Chosen, but your Grenadier won't get up. He's alive, but unconscious. You and your men just can't leave him there! Finally you get rid of the Advent, but you had to use explosives to do that. That means only one thing. Your men hear screamings in the distance. More of them are comming. The evaquation point is just across the street, but the Lost are everywhere! One of your soldiers picked up her fallen comrade. Your squad will not leave this place without him! Two SPARKs are heavily damaged, facing most of the dead, while Reaper keeps fending off those who tries to flank your position. Protecting the VIP, your people finally got to the evac point right in time before the next wave of undead showed up. That horde could possibly slaughter your entire squad! But still your men made it out alive. Scratched and injured, but alive. No one was left lying on the battlefield that day...
Null lance typically works on lost since they like to line up, but unfortunately a lot of the time they like to attack from different sides which makes null lance almost futile...
Reminds me that time i went through the lost with mox, almost had him on target but i forgot my squad missed and hit a car, so the car blew up on mox and i instantly lost it
made that mistake when I first encountered them, thinking they couldn't climb the fire escape ladder on the building I was on. boy that sniper was dead the second he missed his first overwatch shot.
"The sound of combat excite them. They are drawn to it."
"And you just blew up a fuel truck?!"
pratal mox never struck me as an intelligent person.
It's as the Hunter says during combat - the Skirmishers have a lot in common with the Mutons; short on brains, big on brawn. :P
The Hive Mind I don't know he gets more intelligence later on. Plus that was an army of purifiers in the way.
True.
The Hive Mind In exchange for destroying an entire army? Yes!
*random explosion due to my soldier missing a 95 percent chance shot*
"incoming lost horde"
"fuck..."
"Its just a zombie horde in a RTS game don't go too crazy"
The composer:
It's turn-based, not real-time.

if you have a psionic on the field that does not have Solace and Fortress on your Psi Op that shouldn't be on the field

Between the Eyes FTW!
has a horror/apocalyptic vibe to it. I like it
1:44 you've got the VIP, you're on your last few bars of health, but the extraction is 2 blocks away

"Those things! They still look like people."
Are they, humans? -a traumatised central
Lost World dark event be like
Even cheating, the lost are a force to be reckoned with.
