An interesting idea, but looking down at the screen on the dashboard makes will make peripheral vision less effective than it normally would be. In the promo video it seemed like the only scenario where it was really helpful was in coming out of the garage.
I'd be much more optimistic if the video monitor was roof or visor mounted.

My vision is usually obscured to one side when I come onto the road and a wing mirror camera means my bonnet has to be out further before I can see what’s coming. That’s one of the reasons I got a Kuga. I wouldn’t be without the front grill camera now. I would, however, like someone to make a decent load cover as the one on the Kuga is useless.
