The WORST Extra Mission in Sonic Rush Adventure

- This took longer than you'd think. I swear every Sonic game with good Snowboarding mechanics has that ONE optional mission that just ruins it with either Flags, or uber precise jumps. Looking at Missions 53 and 54 in Sonic Adventure. Weird that this one is in the 50's too actually.
Dude this one was a pain for me. I remember me and my brother struggled to get the 6th/7th flag several times because of some of the speed you would still have left over or from going up. This one and Machine Labyrinth's Find the Medal were the tougher missions for us.
Idk if you ever did the Mission mode in Sonic Adventure DX but those two snowboarding ones where you have to do the massive jump with Sonic, and get the flags with Tails make this one look like a walk in the park lol.
@@nikolepsysyndrome7538 Oh dang. I never played Sonic Adventure DX but that sounds like a difficult thing to pull off without some major practice.
@@Crow3893 It is, mostly because the game itself is so jank it can't really register that you're doing it right lol.
As a non sonic gamer can you explain why
Why certainly. The flags have very small hit boxes which is not helped by the fact that you can not go backwards on the snowboard. Considering how fast you'll likely be going, which you have to since the time limit is strict mind you, it is going to happen a lot that you have to wait out the timer to restart. There is also zero indication as to which path they might show up on which makes no sense considering other missions where you need to find stuff give you arrows pointing to where they are. Also because Blaze gets way too much height from her tricks, if you use her you're pretty much guaranteed to miss something so you have to pick the poison of Sonic being too fast to see shit. It's all down to memorization which isn't the worst thing in the world but the game likes to eat inputs occasionally too, or the rails will just be like nah you weren't high enough so there's a little bit of dumb luck involved too.
