- After sixteen months of gaslighting, euphemisms, or outright lies on what Israel, with the full backing of the United States, has been doing to the Palestinians, Donald Trump's remarks on Gaza has forced the American political and media establishment to face the reality of the situation. I am a Middle Eastern. I am in my 30s. The news outlet here in my region never brainwashed us about what is actually happening in Palestine. Your description of what happened in the West Bank sounds very normal to me of they were treated for decades. What was shocking at first to me was when I read and heard Westerners (brainwashed) who would defend the happenings and say “but Hamas this …. Hamas that”. The West Bank doesn’t have a Hamas today. It is still the same.

It's interesting to note that similar proposals were rejected by Egypt during the Biden administration. I was saying this same thing. People don't remember Anthony Blinken was going to on trips to Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia and I remember the reporting that Blinken was asking Egypt and Jordan to take in the poeple from Gaza. So its just that Donald Trump announced it in a very public way, while Joe Biden was doing behind the scenes.
