I purchased the Solid Fold 2.0 for my 2017 Chevy Colorado. The first one arrived damaged from FedEx I contacted Support and the first person wanted to send me parts for me to do the Repairs. Conveniently someone else contacted me and they offered to send me a FedEx Return Shipping Label. Well that was better... FedEx didn't want to come pick it up at my residence, so I had to do my best to repackage in the damaged box and return it to them. My replacement cover shipped the next day. This one arrived with a badly damaged box, but the Cover was not Damaged. Thank God! Now for the installation, yes it was easy... But??? The Spring Latches when pulled are about 1/8 inch to short. My 2017 Colorado metal edge in my Short Box Z71 was a little longer then Extang expected. I exchanged a few emails with them, but as of yet they have not provided a replacement Latches. It looks like they may have a QC issue where the bolts were cut to short, or they didn't anticipate GM making a change on the 2017 Model Z71 4X4 Colorado. My suggesting to anyone buying this Solid Fold 2.0. Find someone who sells it Locally so you don't have to deal with the FedEx Damage. Cross your fingers if the Spring Latches will work on your newer model Truck that they may have not tested yet.
Thanks for the comment. If you would like us to, we can get you in contact with Extang and get you taken care of. As far as his comment on finding someone locally, we include our dealer locator in the description of the video so you can find a Total Truck Center to help you with this install.
How well does this cover hold up going through a car wash in regards to the waterproofing/water resistant seals as well as vibration issues with the air dryer?
It states in the manual to remove it b4 going through a car wash.... I installed one of these on my Truck 6 months ago and really like it....it is not 100% waterproof (I don't think any tonneau cover is) but have noticed only the smallest amt of water getting through at the front wall of the bed .... this is a great cover.
I'm more concern of ppl stealing your stuff... how does that protect from thieves? Please give your feedback on the trifecta 2.0 and the solid fold 2.0...
Junk!!!!! 1st one I got leaked at the folds. 2nd one same thing. Waste of $800. I've had better luck with my rough country soft tri fold.....$240 and doesn't leak a drop, not even through a car wash. Had it on 2 years now. So save your money and don't waste it on this 2.0.

How good is this in preventing water getting into the bed?
Thanks for the comment! While no tonneau cover is completely water-proof, the Solid Fold 2.0 is very weather-resistant.
I purchased a 2.0 for my truck (2008) Chevy 1500 and would like to buy a 2018 Chevy. Will this fit the new truck?
For an 8' Ram bed... 3 or 4 panels?
Hi Roger. Thanks for the comment! All Solid Fold 2.0 covers, regardless of the bed length, come with 3 panels.
Mine keeps sliding.
Me too. I thought I had unevenly tightened the front clamps but It keeps happening.
