That looks great Andrew. I've been threatening to build a dog washing station for years. Leaning over while my dogs slowly inch away kills my back. 😂I love how you did the faucet too!
I think I would have went with Vegega or even Vego raised beds. Those are especially going to be top heave and I assume from the way they're constructed rickety or wobbly. Let us know how they are.
I had to come back to mention a memory from my first Girl Scout camping cookout. My mother (the leader), the day before made a paste of powdered laundry detergent and smeared it all over the outside of the large pot to be placed over the open fire. The black smoke stuck to the detergent, not the pan that was easily washed clean afterward. Now, will dried liquid laundry detergent do the same on the outside of a pot?
the water tank would be great to put pop or "water melons " in for a party!!! you could put a box down lower for a dog step AND it open up and there is the spigot and coiled hose !!!!!
Man I wish I was a Cool Neighbor HAHAHAHAHAHA But I'd be dead by now in the heat down there... To late now but You could have put the Drain at the very back of the Tub. with the lean, more Water would drain out. I spotted in the editing that You switched thing up a bit ?? Did Tiff run water in the tub to cool it off before Rugers Paws touched the HOT bottom ? Thanks Guys...
What a fun outdoor living space you two are developing. I would consider a tub for dogs and another for cooking utensils. Can’t wait for your next project(s)
Sweet form and function fixture!! Consider using the left over scrap piece of aluminum plate as a back plate to sandwich the fixture between the fence to spread out the load rather than just the small washers which will continually compress and loosen over time.
Love the sink and planter boxes and how they tie in together. One thing to think about if you’re putting a firewood storage spot that close to your normal sitting/hanging out area is snakes love firewood.
If you have an artist friend, make a mural area on the fence. Big, colorful, beautiful flowers! How about a beautiful backsplash behind the fantastic counter? Maybe tile. Terra cotta would be beautiful but it might stain. I don’t know if you can treat terra cotta so it won’t soak up stains. And a shelf above the counter. You can put potted plants on the ends of the shelf. And a long magnet so you can mount knives and spatulas and such. And install a light on the underside of the shelf so you can see after dark. Install an electric outlet so you can plug in a crockpot or two. Or an electric meat slicer. Or a blender! Or a margarita slushee machine! How about a cute canopy for shade over the counter? One you can wind and unwind for shade or no shade that fits flat against the wall. The possibilities are endless!
It is looking sooo nice. Those additions have made a huge difference and I love the look! Good job you two👍 I'm sure the storm cleanup has begun, don't overdo and be careful of the heat (as I'm sure you will).
Hi, Andrew! You are so creative!!! You envision all scenarios. Great idea, Mr. Thinker Tinkerer. Did the chickens do well during all the wind and rain?
We all know this is coming in late but bless you for surviving yet again. Another horrific windstorm from the Gulf. Maybe it will come down in the future 🇺🇲🫡
Great video Andrew. I'm really liking how that area is coming together. I'm looking forward to seeing how this all turns out. Great idea with the wood storage as well. Hope everything is going ok after the storm. See ya.
Absolutely love the addition!!!! As always, nicely done. Only thing I can think of is how incredibly hot that stainless top will get and wasps all up in those shelves. Keep these vids coming. Hella inspiring!!!
Hello great videos love watching your videos. Have you thought about building a tub/sink for fishing and hunting. I'm going to building a fish and processing building using a bathtub as a sink to processing animals in....
Side yard entertaining area is coming together nicely. Great idea to dual purpose the sink. Only question I have is the waste water going into grass. Any worries cleaning soaps will kill grass?
I think galvanized means zinc coated. The differences I think come between electrolysis vs hot dipping right? I Might be confused. Maybe someone can clarify.
When people refer to zinc coating, it's the thinner shiny coating that's not as durable as a thicker galvanized coating. There are some differences between the two, thus the cost difference.
Really? Done much old style camping? A sanitizer/disinfectant will alleviate any issues you might be concerned about. It's not like they're gonna wash the dogs and cook at the same time....geez.
Why is that? Any idea how dirty a restaurant commercial kitchen sink AND utensils are that you eat out at and use all the time? How dirty your shower/tub is (fecal matter, urine), but you bath in it every night. How dirty a pool is? How dirty an operation room can be, but it's cleaned thoroughly before the next patient???? Why could a sink not be cleaned up before use?
@@TKCL That's EXACTLY RIGHT Andrew...if people only knew or realized, oh well - no germaphobes in my house LOL! I thought you 2 came up with very functional idea👍
you could add a mixing valve above the added hose spicket to bring hot water so in the winter you can have nice warm water to fill the future hot tube, I mean to wash the dogs with.
On the planter beds, I didn't see any drainage holes. Is there a concern about drainage? My experience with planting in compost has been that you need to add fertilizer for the first couple of years. The reason is that it takes that long for the compost to break down and release plant nutrients. I also saw that on another channel. I know you have plants in the swimming pool area that are planted in compost and are doing awesome. I love the cleanup area! It looks great!!
I've never had an issue planting in compost. Been doing that for a couple of decades. No drainage holes needed with the planters, all pieces are a loose fit. Water can easily find its way out.
Hey Andrew, from water logged South Carolina (Thanks, to Debbie)....is there a chance you could list the cut dimensions??? I really want to replicate this exactly...one of my favorite projects you've done!!! Also, a big THANKS to Tiffany for her touches!!!! AWESOME PROJECT GUYS!!!! Thanks, Robert
Consider attaching this to the drain pipe output to catch the debris. Not to mention the obvious intended usage ... 4Pcs Pool Vacuum Replacement Mesh Bag, Pool Leaf Vacuum Net Bag Fine Mesh with Locking Cord, Pool Vacuum Filter Bag, Pool Cleaner Bag Suitable for Pools Aquariums Ponds Collecting Leaves and Debris ... ASIN B0C8HB436P .
If your draining the sink into the yard why did you have the drain with a p trap? now you will have to pay attention to that freezing so it doesn't break.

Hey buddy, thanks for watching! Something like this should be right up your alley!
love both of your channels you should build one Haxman !!!!
Monday, hurricane rain, wind. Tuesday beautiful clear blue sky then 100+ heat index. Welcome to North Florida.
Useful project 👍
Love this project !! Wished i had a set up
like that !!❤❤❤
Thanks for watching
I really like the sink. So useful! You both did a great job! The planters are great! Going to be so pretty in your outdoor area!!
That wall on the house is going to be a huge T.V.!
One word…PEX
Multiple words.... Not as UV resistant or as outdoor rated. Might want to research that.
4 foot table, 🤔 you’re going to have to start catching some bigger fish. ;)
The quality of your workmanship is always astounding. Like all of your projects this one looks great. Yet another WELL DONE Andrew!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed.
That’s awesome!!
I'm so amazed at all you can do...it is just "Awesome"...such beautiful work...
Thank you so much
RUGEROO!!!!!!💙
If you want to keep the bugs away plant anything with lemon in it. Lemon grass, lemon balm etc
We have lemon grass all around the porch, the mosquitoes seem to love it 🤣
I think I would have went with Vegega or even Vego raised beds. Those are especially going to be top heave and I assume from the way they're constructed rickety or wobbly. Let us know how they are.
Zero issues with buckling or being wobbly. Even went through a hurricane this past week.
That looks awesome!!! 😎😎😎😎
Thanks
When Tiffany has a vision you can make it come true
I do my best
Great addition to your outdoor entertainment area.
That looks fantastic. Great idea
I’ve always wanted an outdoor tub like Lee Majors in Fall Guy! LOL one day maybe lol
What great addition to your entertainment area. Great seeing Miss Tiffany on the video. Love the new planter beds.
Thank you! Yes she is always ready to help. It really helps having her here.
Two great new additions to the entertainment area.
30:22 even though i drain my lines to my outdoor sink they still seem to freeze. I just remove my sink for the winter.
I had to come back to mention a memory from my first Girl Scout camping cookout. That's interesting.
Great job. Looks nice and the doggos will love it.
I think so too!
I love when you build. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoy!
That’s great! I love it! Well done guys!😉👍🏼
Thank you!
Great video!

Thanks Guys...
I had already been running water and testing before the dog came out.
Nice work Kelleys Great video!
Thank you!
I kept waiting for the saw to be unplugged 😆. All very nice additions to the entertainment area
Yeah I did good this time lol. Thank you
I know after you see this you're gonna take the metal off of the washing station and turn it horizontal to match the planters. 😂😂😂
LOL yeah I leave the designing up to her.
lol. I was thinking the same thing.😂😂
What a fun outdoor living space you two are developing. I would consider a tub for dogs and another for cooking utensils. Can’t wait for your next project(s)
That sink will really come in handy. 😊
Yes it will!
I think you ought to paint the backside of that fence make it look a lot better
I am, Lowes paint machine was broken last time I tried to buy more paint.
looks great Andrew happy for you guys and of course the dogs too
Thank you
Andrew another great job! Tiffany will be giving Andrew a bath in the Dog sink.
LOL a little small for me
Awesome job Andrew and great idea Tiffany . I like it .
Thank you!
Hi Andrew and Tiffany. You both have some fantastic ideas and you’re there Andrew to make it happen. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Thank you!
Great job!.
Great build bud
Thanks 👍
Nice !
Looks great:)
Thanks
Great Video
Thanks!
OMG!!! That is so nice. Great idea you two. ❤
Thank you!
It looks awesome. Those seem to be really nice raised garden beds. It's really coming together.
Thank you! Yes plenty more to come.
Great video as always God bless
Thank you for watching, God bless!
Sweet form and function fixture!!
Consider using the left over scrap piece of aluminum plate as a back plate to sandwich the fixture between the fence to spread out the load rather than just the small washers which will continually compress and loosen over time.
I love that you have a shop and 50 acres and cut plywood on the porch. Same thing I would do. 😂
Might as well work by the work
Really cool project, just be careful with the heat, sink and faucet may need a small roof over it, that sun and metal don't mix very well.
Came out looking really good Andrew! You're going to need some bigger pots! Lol!
Thank you sir! Yes we need to get them out and do a crab boil soon.
Looks good. You still going to put tongue and groove on the ceiling of your porches? Your place looks great.
As of right now we are ok with how we have it. Plus so many more projects ahead of that we need to move on. Thank you.
Build an outdoor shower next to it and use the spray hose you want to add for the shower head too
Love the sink and planter boxes and how they tie in together.

I like a lot of those ideas
very cool! and i thought that was gonna be your bathtub lol!
Little small for me lol
@@TKCL yeah i agree! and that was smart adding a p-trap to the drain!
It is looking sooo nice. Those additions have made a huge difference and I love the look! Good job you two👍 I'm sure the storm cleanup has begun, don't overdo and be careful of the heat (as I'm sure you will).
Thank you! We have more plans to come. Yes we have a lot still to do. This heat does slow it down.
Hi, Andrew! You are so creative!!! You envision all scenarios. Great idea, Mr. Thinker Tinkerer. Did the chickens do well during all the wind and rain?
They got soaked, but survived.
@@TKCL GREAT!!!

Doing well, thank you.

Wasps are a way of life here, a quick spray in spring usually takes care of it.
Hello great videos love watching your videos. Have you thought about building a tub/sink for fishing and hunting. I'm going to building a fish and processing building using a bathtub as a sink to processing animals in....
Yes we have a outdoor sink with a cutting table and also a processing room out in the shop that helps.
@@TKCL hello can you do a video on it showing it
Could you seal the plywood to attempt to last a little longer since it's out door.
That's treated plywood painted with a quality outdoor paint. It technically is sealed.
Gotcha. I bet ole Rugar loves the bathtub
He loves any water
Looks like it could double as a good chicken processing area too. Nice
Them beds drain?
Absolutely, nothing is sealed on those.
@@TKCL they look nice. Might have to get a couple
Quite nice, saw that on your hurricane damage video yesterday, hope all is well, don’t get to hot cleaning up the mess!
Been a busy day
I’d just mount it to the tank…with thin enclosure mounted to the fence
Side yard entertaining area is coming together nicely. Great idea to dual purpose the sink. Only question I have is the waste water going into grass. Any worries cleaning soaps will kill grass?
No, we did this same thing at our last older home. Everything grew awesome in that area.
Wonderful! Please be cautious about leaving that out in the sun on really hot days because anyone could burn themselves or the doggie feets. ❤️
Running water for a few seconds cools the tub right off.
I think galvanized means zinc coated. The differences I think come between electrolysis vs hot dipping right?

I am going to paint it, there is also a huge solar array going on the backside.
Pets/pans washing station?! I'm too old for it!
you could add a mixing valve above the added hose spicket to bring hot water so in the winter you can have nice warm water to fill the future hot tube, I mean to wash the dogs with.
Interesting, thanks!
Nice wash station. Maybe a roof over it like the fuel tanks?
I am considering it
Love the sink, Ruger seems to like it as well, Question is do the "BATS" like the sink as well?? HMMM. 🤔
Lol no they don't
You should a sky shade in over the swing n pot washer.
Not the swing, we like star gazing
Looks good but you didn’t really need a trap on the drain.
It's the only way I could find at Lowes to adapt the sink drain to standard PVC

nice addition to the outdoor cooking area. my only question is are those flip flops you and Tiffany are wearing OSHA approved..🤣
They sure are lol
Nice project! It would have nice if you installed a backsplash to prevent water spot on your fence. JMO

Might not be a bad idea if we wash any food down the drain. I did forget to mention the sink drain does have a nice removable strainer.
If your draining the sink into the yard why did you have the drain with a p trap? now you will have to pay attention to that freezing so it doesn't break.
Because that's the only way I could find fittings to go from the odd sink thread/pipe to standard pvc.
You need to think about putting a awning over the wash station, don't want to burn his pads.
We run water before putting him in.
that's not good to wash your pots & pacs in the same in the same thing your dog has been in
Why is that? Any idea how dirty a restaurant commercial kitchen sink AND utensils are that you eat out at and use all the time?
