About the time the McGuires hit it big I was a little kid in Moraine, Ohio. They grew up about a half mile away in Miamisburg, Ohio, and you can't believe how much radio airplay they got around that part of Ohio. Occasionally they would stop by the area and it was a huge deal. Local girls make good, indeed.
They were a truly wonderful all-sister-trio. Dean, in his prime, was surely one of the most handsome and truly cool guys of all time. It's so sad that he lost his son and then really never recuperated from that tragic loss. We sure miss Dean, Frank, and Sammy. - what "a trio" *they* made !
what an incredible performance by both Mr Martin and those fan-tab-ulous McGuire Sisters!!!! at the end of the vid all I could say OUTLOUD was WOW 3 times! LOL!
God I would love to know Phyllis. My friend (for a short while) Dominick Dunne said she is full of life. Sigh. People like her make the world go 'round.

The sisters were and still are my favorites. Thier beauty and great voices are still the best.
