►Synopsis ：
Because of some accidents of their families, three unrelated children have become new family members, living under the same roof together and supporting each other. However, the damages caused by their original families remain, and those who hurt them before crash into their life again, trying to separate them by the titles of their original family members.
On the one hand, they have new family members that they cherish, and on the other hand, they have indifferent biological parents that leave them no choice. Chen Ting is an example of what happens when one doesn't acknowledge one's own feelings. To deal with the pain and grief of many years past... and it's too hard to address it when so much time has gone by, so she just dumps her feelings on others and make them responsible for how she feels instead of healing and nurturing herself. Of course, it doesn't help that she doesn't know how to do the self-work and healing but with the money she's blowing to cause this much drama and heartache to herself and everyone around her, she could definitely find a professional to help safely guide through her emotions. Provide the structure to continuously work on herself and her emotions instead of dumping on kids or family members. No one can read minds and they cannot definitely feel what she's feeling. Much like a child unable to speak. Her temper tantrums is what will ultimately leave her isolated and alone.

I actually disagree. Even though he would do anything to keep her happy and safe, he's undermining his own importance as a person. Like in past episodes, we all know how desperate he had been for Jianjian. He himself admitted that even if she doesn't like him as in a boyfriend, he's fine till she's with him. As good as it sounds since she truly does love him, imagine if she didn't? What if she only loved him as a brother? He practically would have lost himself. Now that she is in a relationship,if someday they fall out, he won't be able to let her go because to him , she's his last hope. I can say all this from furst hand experience because I've got an ex who was similar to ling xiao. While everyone thought he was an ideal boyfriend, straight out of fiction, only I saw his scars. Such people prioritise their love so much that they entirely forget themselves n it all turns toxic in the end.
But ofc this is a fiction, he won't do anything to hurt her or disturb her but if you're praying for such a guy in real life, better be aware. One who shines from afar may not be so perfect when looked at from close

I have been watching this drama for about 2 days and I finished 36 episodes what I feel is little orange and brother He are the one who are most affected . Brother He had father li but little orange didn’t even have anyone by her side , her mother was sick for 9 years and her brother was not even interested in talking to her , she is longing for father and brothers love her father passed away at such an early age her I guess that’s why she is rude and the reason why she hates li jianjian is that her brother talks nicely to jianjian and not her so obviously any sister in the world would get jealous. In previous episode when Brother He showed a little care to her she immediately apologized . I feel like she just needs some care and attention that’s it then she will behave well with others . I don’t understand why people give birth to new life and after giving birth they abandon the child . There are several lives in the earth instead of giving birth to a new life why can’t people make better the life which is already existing and which is suffering

Definitely agree. Even though I still find ling xiao the most affected one. He literally lost his home, the girl he loved, his family, his normal life n had to go to live with someone who blames him for something he wasn't even responsible for(his sister's death)
But even through this, little orange is actually neglected too. She suffered a lot too n ofc her jealousy is justified. Ling Xiao in Singapore was like a living zombie (multiple eps) but with Jianjian he smiles from within. Orange definitely got inferiority complex. Ofc she lost her dad at a young age, saw her mother on bed for 9 years, didn't had anyone to talk to. All she needs is little love n care and that is why she's getting more and more attached to Ziqui because she's finally getting the elder brother plus love n affection which she had been craving for god knows how long

I never thought about the fact that his mother might not actually love him. Like I knew she was toxic, but I chalked it all up to love to the extent of possessiveness. Now that I think about it, how can it truly be love when she is trying to destroy his relationships, especially after finding out he has depression/insomnia and that Jianjian is helping him (more than anything else). That last scene really opened my eyes to just how cruel and manipulative she is.

They really set out to make Ling Xiao’s mom character to be unredeemable. I think we as viewers understand that she’s been through multiple traumatic incidents, but it’s not okay to pull out the victim card when confronted with. Like lady, you never took into account what others have to say and feel just like how she kept insisting for years (multiple episodes) that Mr. Lipeng took care of Ling Xiao and got a monthly salary, trying to downplay his sincerity while he was the one who practically raised her son all these years that she tapped out.
