About 10 years ago I lost my mind and started playing country only, basically just chord music.. Freaking boring.. I stopped drinking a little over a year ago and out went those skinny jean wearing country fakes.. Anyways, thanks to some help with your videos "and not drinking" the metal is back on point. You make it soooooo simple for me. I am playing so much again that my freaking wrist feels broken. Your lessons have brought the metal back out of my soul. Sent me into some kind of mid-life crisis.. I have got a ton of new guitars and amps.. I love it. can you do some D.R.I. ? Anything off Thrash zone will work. Also, some stuff from the "Show no Mercy" album would be great.. thanks again man

So it would be really helpful if videos like this include information like: guitar model, string brand and gauge, pedals used, amplifier model, cabinet and speakers. And if it's modeled with a pedal: the setting used (and the same with modeling software). Video of all of that is helpful too.

But right when you open this video you do that slide and I cant for the life of me figure out what strings you're sliding on mine just doesnt sound right! Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Looks like hes starting around the 2nd fret on strings 6 and 5 and sliding up to the 19th then back down?

I have to say though, since I have been trying to learn guitar. I have developed a strong like for playing Metal. Never realized just how good a player Dimebag was til I tried playing some of his music. I have been trying your lesson on Cowboys Fro Hell and the speed is just Crazy. Hopefully one day I can get the speed part.
