The GLSDB combines the GBU-39 small diameter aerial bomb with the M26 rocket engine.
The ammunition can hit targets at a distance of 150 km.
The weapon uses a global positioning system (GPS) and an inertial navigation system to target.
The bomb has wings that expand in the air, which significantly increases the range of damage.
It can be launched from MLRS-M270 or HIMARS missile systems already available in Ukraine.
In November 2022, it became known that the Boeing company offered the Pentagon to manufacture cheap small-sized high-precision land-based bombs (GLSDB) for Ukraine.
