I agree. we recently had a situation like that here in Australia where the woman left him and took the kids and went to her parents house and one morning when she was about to take them to school he jumped in the car and poured fuel over all of the including himself and lit a match. it can all go horribly wrong. in a way it was a good thing what he did.

I think it's so gross Brandi and Camille are questioning what happened to Taylor. As if they would know what happened inside closed doors.
These are people that knew Russell. Being married to him doesn’t make Taylor the designated person to speak on Russel’s suicide. She was alleging a lot of defaming allegations.

There were and are still a lot of inconsistencies. Here she’s saying she was worried about her and her daughter would survive yet on UGT she’s saying she was so successful.
Also she claimed at this reunion she put her book out to help people of domestic violence and again on UGT she said she was pressured into doing it!
@@workittworkit those statement don’t invalidate each other. She was successful but Russell was the breadwinner and without him her financial situation was made dire because of the debts he left her with after his death. She probably didn’t want to write a book but she had to pay off his debts and support her daughter and she saw that sharing her story would help other victims so they both were her motivations. There’s literally proof of her in the hospital of her injuries from him attacking her so trying to discredit her story is just victim blaming

How do you know someone is a victim unless you ask questions? Because they say so? Have you seen the medical reports? No? Taylor gets to make all the claims and no one can question anything? Wasn’t she also struggling with alcoholism…seemed that way.
I CANNOT with anyone who questions Taylor it was quiete obvious that she was being abused and could have been killed as well. If you have been in a DV situation, you understand the need to "act" like things are OK while you are planning your escape. I've been there. I understand Taylor. I'm sorry Taylor. I am so glad you are happy now. DV affects the victim for YEARS! It can even carry to the next relationship, even if that relationship is good, because of PTSD. I, for one, understand and struggle when I hear about this stuff.

Her scenes with russell were so cringe. They couldn't stand each other she clearly wasn't comfortable around him and when they ladies publicly outed the abuse on the show that put her in extreme harm one of the reasons I don't like Camile she doubted Taylor only to go experience the same situation later on so sad
Until your in a DV relationship you will never ever know the extent, people always ask “why didn’t you just leave” there so many other factors, the control, the manipulation it’s DAUNTING and awful for anyone.
He had serious money issues. But she obviously didn’t know, she spent $46k on Kennedy’s 5th birthday party, surely he should have stopped her if he had money woes?
These people tend to live beyond their means, so not altogether shocking.

I wish Taylor had quietened the dissenters by bringing forth all these witnesses -- the friends from the pool scene, the housekeeper (finding recording devices and no doubt witnesses other things) -- Maybe she did bring forth the witnesses, but i never heard about it. It would certainly have put a stop to anybody questioning her.

I see in Taylor’s face she’s telling the truth. Her eyes are a big giveaway minus the crying which is an obvious response someone gives when they’ve been through a lot.

For so many years, people have mentioned the inconsistencies in her story, and even gone so far as to imply she isn’t being truthful… I just wonder why the friend who cared about Taylor not to charge her husband when assaulted by him has never corroborated her story. Why haven’t the staff come forward to provide evidence she is telling the truth about the hidden cameras? And why, if he dislocated her jaw as she has claimed, does she not just shove the medical evidence in people’s faces? This poor woman has been called everything under the sun; from an over exaggerating manipulator, through to being called an outright liar - Taylor has some amazingly big balls to let people speak of these things, and never feel she needs to defend herself

Is it me, or did Russell have a lot of strength, hit the friends husband in the head, attempt to drown taylor, threw the friends husband in the pool, and threw the girlfriend in the pool, then the dog, and still fought the girlfriends husband.
It could have all happened really fast. Plus who knows how big that dog was. Maybe it was tiny? If he hit the man first then the women are easier to get to, sadly. Overall very upsetting situation.

I've never watched this show. So, did Taylor only start making these claims after her husbands death? Can someone get me hip on her story and timeline on his death?
The claims were made before his death. Taylor confided in the women about the abuse and some of them got uncomfortable about it and seemed to resent Taylor for staying/ going back to Russel. During a tea party hosted by Lisa, Lisa and Taylor had a conversation about how Taylor feels Lisa is a popular girl she can’t be friends with and Camille said they have all been protecting her(Taylor) and revealed that Taylor told them Russel was abusive and hits her. Russel responded by threatening to sue Camille. Kyle had a party and asked Taylor and Russel to leave because of Russels threat, leaving Taylor feeling alone because now everyone has their foot down when it comes to Russel and she’s like guilty by association(she states she didn’t know Russel threatened to sue)since that’s her husband. He ends up hitting her again and she ends it. She has a sit down with all of the women with her psychiatrist to talk everything out

It was a private issue . To air it publicly while she has little kids is senseless and will only cause those kids further trauma.
No it was important. Keeping it a secret could have gotten her or her daughter killed. The women were worried about her. She signed up for the show and did not want to air her private issues but it was all boiling to the surface. It was meant to come out. Abuse like that can’t be hidden for too long, and the fact that she was on the show could have been her saving grace.
