Not in the Frontier Cavern or Hole of Heroes she doesn’t.
Love how Emperor Bulblax in the first game was the final boss and incredibly hard to beat

Fun Fact: Bosses always drop 5 liquids(nectar, spicy and bitter spray) when they are killed when petrified. This means that for the cost of 1 spray you should be able to get roughly 1-2 sprays back + some nectar. Also the titan dweevil drops 20 sprays and no nectar.

With purples, remember that. I went in to swarm a regular monster with blues, the pansy lips thing, gobbled up my pikmin before I knew it was over

Pikmin 2 was my childhood. I loved 1 and 3 too of course, and I can’t wait to see Pikmin 4, since its been confirmed a long time ago!

Why? This video is useless if you're looking for tactics. It completely trivializes the fights with careful preparation

@@Boss-cv3uc Tactics =/= Strategy. Throwing a nuke at the enemy means you don't have to learn their moveset or patterns, don't have to learn how to dodge and get your Pikmin out of the way to keep them alive for the whole fight, don't have to know when your best openings are and when it's too risky.
These videos can only help someone in a broad sense by getting them to grind for ages and then meticulously try and bring their special army down to bosses. For someone playing normally that needs to make do with their balanced or potentially crippled army, it's no aid whatsoever.
Although this is by far my favorite of the Pikmin games, it's a solid reminder of just how *easy* Purples make it. Although that said, they really made enemies in general far squishier than they were in the first game.
Insane how fast you beat these bosses. I remember having so much trouble with them when I was a kid

The burrowing snagret, beady long legs, and the Emperor Bulblax have lost their immense strengths in this Pikmin. The giant breadbug is the only boss who won’t hurt you.

Smargin the waterwraith actually spawns in the open world part of the game if you don’t beat him the first time

I remember finding the Pileated Snagret really annoying when I was younger. It would always keep shaking off my pikmin and deflowering them while repeatedly digging away underground.
Purples are just the most overpowered things in Pikmin 2.

You really must farm all those sprays
I just know where all the sprays are, and I usually save them until I need to use them. No farming required :)
About the Waterwraith, could you just haul ass to the lowest floor, beat it there, then come back for the treasures?
It re spawns if you visit the cave again.
what i do is I'll proceed normally till it spawns on the floor i'm on, go to the next floor, repeat until final floor, then come back for whatever I left behind (since you can collect whatevers left before it even spawns)
I just get all the treasures quickly and if it spawns well R.I.P
Thats true, but fun fact: If you Hack the Game so that you can Bring purples to the submerged castle and kill the Waterwraith on an earlier Floor, it stays dead for the Rest of the cave.

but thats what makes it so good... the music really describes the feelings you get when you see the titan dweevil... when you see it, you think terrified so thats why the music is terrifying.
