How about selectivity towards different metals? I’m trying to recycle vanadium from a mixed solution with V(V) and Fe(III) in order for it to be reused as a flow cell reagent, but they seem to either come out as solid together or both stay in the solution.

i thought they did i basically got that from the explanation that its running a electrical current through a cathode and anode placed into a liquid solution of particular metal concentrations to attract the desired metal to the cathode.

Hello, it is possible but you should be careful not to exceed the current.
