Dear Janine, thank you very much for sharing this information with us. I am a lucky girl, because I have seen 2 solar eclipses in Santiago, Chile: in 2019 and 2020 :-)

Hi Janine :) Thanks for all the sky knowledge. Really interesting since the ancient civilizations talk about the same stars, planets (they call them "wondering stars") and constellation... BUT the earth is not a tilt ball spinning at 1000mph, orbiting sun at 66,000mph and moving, flying, floating through "infinite space" at 450,000mph. All ancient civilizations says that its flat and static and the stars spin over us around POLARIS (north stars) 🙏😇 So it would be great if you can continue to share your awesome knowledge but with the truth of our home (earth)... ps: stop be-lie-ving NASA... in Hebrew NASA means "to deceive" and its all HOLLYWOOD. Like the distance of stars and sun and moon... nobody can "confirm" so you just have to be-LIE-ve... so might as well not mention it ❤ All the rest is pure evolution for the soul. Thanks Sister. Love you

Greetings. Chilean theological librarian here. It has been a while since you commented, but here are some clarifications, in case you are still interested in this space subject.
      - "Planets" mean "wanderers" not "wonderers." That name was given to them by the ancient Greek because differently from all the lights in the sky, in some periods of the year they seemed to change their position, going backward and then forward again. It took centuries for astronomers and mathematicians to realize that was because we all turn around the Sun and not the Sun (and the Moon and everything else) around us. It was a simple consequence of the advancement of telescopes and maths. The ancient peoples who believed Earth was flat, simply didn't know any better. I presume you also know that flies aren't born by spontaneous generation, right? Google both things, and 'planets apparent retrograde motion.'
      - I am Chilean. I cannot see Polaris, because the bulk of spherical Earth gets in the way, not because it is too far for me to see it. I travel to the North, then I can see it, very low in the Norrhern horizon. On your part, have you ever seen the Southern Cross constellation? Look at the sky, to the South. If you do and you are in a latitude below 26°, you may see it, turning around *clockwise* around the Southern celestial pole. You turn around, then you see your constellations turning *counterclockwise* around Polaris. If you cannot see it, Google it, and look for videos of Australian and New Zealander stargazers explaining how to find the Southern Cross in the sky.
      - The Hebrew word for "lie" is שקר, which more or less sounds as "shaqar." Whoever told you that the acronym NASA means "lie" in Hebrew was lying to you. Also, the fact that Earth is a sphere was known since centuries before the USA existed, not to speak about NASA. Columbus did not took the other route on a whim, he knew he could arrive to India turning around the planet - he just made a very bad calculation of the distance, and had no idea there was a whole continent in his way. Google all of that, and this word: Erdapfel.
      - The distance to the Sun, and the Moon, an to everything else in space has been calculated since centuries ago, every time improving on the accuracy of the measurement. The fact that you and me aren't that good at maths as to do it (Geometry literally means "measurement of the Earth") does not mean that nobody else can do it. Check, in the David Butler channel, the series "How far away is it." He starts measuring distances in his garden, then in landscapes, and so on. If you are better at maths than me, you may measure the distance to the Sun by yourself.
By the way, you did not address something crucial in this video: why the Sun and Moon eclipses are different in size and duration. Being both celestial objects of different sizes and being at different distances explains it. You offer no better explanation. Not a single flat Earth guru ever offers a better explanation of anything of what we all see - and not one ever has predicted an eclipse more accurately than NASA or the astronomers who have predicted them since antiquity. Google 'when people start predicting eclipses.'
      - Finally, I am a Theological librarian. It always amazes me when someone who believes in a God who is almighty, omniscient, eternal, infinite, etc., cannot accept that *God* might have the power to create an universe according to His Size, and not a fishbowl according to the size of human mind. You may say, the Bible says so and so, but again, ever considered that the Bible was written by and for puny men, and not according to the immensity of God? If anything, an Universe too vast to comprehend, which works in ways you need doctorate degrees to just start to understand is a proof of God's true self, not what we can barely imagine.
