All the sweats broke out and began making TH-cam videos, growing their fanbase. Most of these PvPers can make money off TH-cam now so they have way more time on their hands which they invest into getting better. It also didn’t help that Techno got cancer. Taking months off your job will make you extremely rusty and this fight with FBerries was one of Techno’s first major fights and considering that he did this well with a limp arm is amazing. Nowadays, Techno has lost that crown of being the best PvPer (blame Twitter not me for that statement) but he still continues to get better despite his current situation. Quick side note though. I’m just going to comment here because as always there’s people arguing about who’s the best at pvp and it’s quite simple to say, none of the known people are probably the best, not even small content creators, there will always be a sweaty kid with incredible skills somewhere. The thing is who makes the sweaty kid be good? and that’s for example Technoblade, a very good entertainer and public personality that represents a “pvper” for the public, a feared warrior among average players with an incredible game sense and very solid skill. Fruit berries is also an incredible content creator and his ingenious trap videos probably made thousands join those old uhcs and get better, the best pvp player wouldn’t probably exist without these people, the visible face of pvp. It’s clear that with their abilities Technoblade could have been (after training) “the best 1.8 pvper” or maybe the best in 1.9+ but who cares when without the popularity these people already give to these game modes pvp servers could be dead with no new players for “the best” to kill and to show their talent.
