Sherdukpen- Natives of Bomdilla

The Sherdukpens have a beautiful custom of welcoming the guests. Traditionally they have links with the Assam valley. Even a few decades back, they would migrate to Doimara, a lowland hamlet close to the Assam border, in the winter.

both are two different tribes with different ancestry

The Shertukpen community is realtive smaller than Monpa so everyone is more familiar with them. We have different ancesty but live relatively close, so are often mistaken as related.
