- Hey Beauties! I apologize that I’m late posting this. I had some technical difficulty with my first round of footage and had to re-record the whole video with barely time to edit. This was such an important video I definitely wanted to make it right. But here it is! The Final Part of this Beauty Room From Scratch Series, aka the Esthetician Room Tour. Hi! First off, love your channel and your vibe. My name is Anya, I've been a licensed cosmetologist in CA since 2011 and have been teaching Esthetics since 2016. I stumbled on your channel while looking for videos to incorporate into my lesson plans. I really love how much you focus on professionalism and cleanliness without sounding like the typical cheesy beauty school videos/textbooks (that's one of the reasons I utilize youtube so my students don't just roll their eyes and tune out 😂). Also, mad props for taking the leap and working for yourself 🙌🏼 I'm not sure if you have a video like this already and I'm sure you have videos planned and stuff, BUT I know my students would benefit greatly from you sharing your experience in building a clientele and how long it took you to get to the point where you felt you could branch out and open your own spa suite. I am licensed esthetician and starting my own business has been challenging but fulfilling.. Never worked in a salon or spa. Building my clientele and the loyalty cards and referral cards are nice.
