There are various misconceptions about EVs and the current renewable energy, Solar wind etc. They all produce a huge sum of carbon footprint at initial stages and the mining for lithium and other minerals is very harmful. I always hate how nuclear energy is still not considered more feasible for society even though it's the least polluting of all. Green parties are a huge joke and are being used to push new faces for leadership roles only. Last week I talked to a friend in Alberta Canada where 4.5 lac hectares of forest burned down with no serious government action no outrage by any environmental group or green party. Last time it calmed a bit after 24 hours of rain as the temperature was around 1000°C and raindrops were evaporating. I am writing this because things should be taught with a neutral perspective accepting western drama is not right.
