I was hoping this issue was fixed, but at 5:27 the narrator completely mispronounced the name of this park, it's "Su-joe", the "zh" in chinese romanization/pinyin is a J sound, idk why it's that way but it is. It's actually something easily found when you look up the pronunciation, though. Don't know how that happened when your narrators usually pronounce foreign words really well

Yeah Joy land either needs to be redone or replaced by a new ride because I think even some of its locals may find it a creepy attraction and it looks very rundown. It kind of reminds me of Garfieild's Nightmare (a.k.a. more rightfully and currently The Old Mill) at Kenneywood because that attraction was very poorly maintained to. Its mechanics still worked fine, but its lack of maintenance made it look creepy and soleless. Not to mention it was in the place of a classic Kenneywood attraction The Old Mill, from 2004-2019, this disaster plagued the mill and angry locals demanded the ride to be given its old theme back (which the traditional theme of the ride is skeletons that are cowboys). In 2019, it was announced that Garfield wood leave the mill and the skeletons would return in 2020, despite the pandemic, The Old Mill returned with its classic theme reinstated and thousands of pleased locals and fans.

I don't know if there is enough ride footage of this. There's a version in Indonesia called "Istana Boneka" (Doll Castle), located at Dunia Fantasi/Dufan (Fantasy World)theme park. They had an original song for the ride, performed in multiple languages depending on which country the scene's based on. However due to poor maintenance the ride is clearly decaying. When I was small all the animatronics worked, but when I last visited after graduating high school: the a/c wasn't working, the boat got stuck at one of the turns and my friends had to push the boat in order to get it back moving, and the music stopped at the last 2(?) rooms so all you hear are creaks and machine sounds.
Eeeh... we clearly don't have the same tastes! I still think the original has a creepiness that the others don't... except for Happy World, which is one of the ones you actually liked! I don't like overly cutesy things - I find them scary, so it makes sense that the original and Happy World are the ones I find creepy. I think I liked Joyland or Carnival Fantasy the most - hard to tell which one of the two I prefer. Now, even the ones I find a bit creepy as a whole or style-wise, I still overall appreciate! As far as I remember, I loved animatronics, and during my teenage years I started loving dolls just as much. I find them comforting and feel some sort of connexion to them, for a lack of better word. So I really can't find an animatronic or a doll creepy (unless it represents a baby, but that's because I find babies terrifying) - they all have their own beauty, no matter the state they're in.

Hey, Have you looked into Phantasialand Germany much yet? It's my personal favorite European amusement park and has many fun and interesting attractions.
Really cool of Efteling to hear people commenting on how the ride portrayed different cultures, and instead of getting butthurt or not caring, they went "you know what? You're right, yeah, we should change that"
joyland looks like my personal hell. something about the design of it and the audio (ESPECIALLY the audio) are so deeply unsettling to me. the baby goat animatronics are almost cute but they're so ridiculously loud it's just...ugh. and the gulliver section 😱 makes me wanna barf i've always loved the original small world ride, it's genuinely cute and relaxing to me. and seeing these rides, i appreciate it even more
Personally I find "it's a small world" at the Disney parks fun, cute, and colorful with a wonderful tune Witten my the Sherman Brothers. It's definitely my favorite ride at Walt Disney World.

Hey, Have you looked into Phantasialand Germany much yet? It's my personal favorite European amusement park and has many fun and interesting attractions.
Everytime I went on that ride as a kid I was always scared to death.

I find it concerning how majority of the scary small worlds are mostly from 1 country, and one of them closed from security issues.
Really cool of Efteling to hear people commenting on how the ride portrayed different cultures, and instead of getting butthurt or not caring, they went "you know what? You're right, yeah, we should change that"
joyland looks like my personal hell. something about the design of it and the audio (ESPECIALLY the audio) are so deeply unsettling to me. the baby goat animatronics are almost cute but they're so ridiculously loud it's just...ugh. and the gulliver section 😱 makes me wanna barf
i've always loved the original small world ride, it's genuinely cute and relaxing to me. and seeing these rides, i appreciate it even more

Personally I find "it's a small world" at the Disney parks fun, cute, and colorful with a wonderful tune Witten my the Sherman Brothers. It's definitely my favorite ride at Walt Disney World.
In Indonesia, there is a Small world copy to which is in Dufan Ancol (Dunia Fantasi Ancol) Called Istana Boneka.
The dolls in Istana Boneka just looks like Bootleg Barbie's all around the world including Indonesia's Bali,Jawa, and more.
I can say that plop's woods in Plopsaland de panne, Belgium was the most horrifying "smal world" attraction i've been on, it was pure nightmare fuel

As a person who actually LIKES the original ride of it's a Small World...
The rip offs look so freakin' scary while the original looks so much more cuter and happy without the dead-looking dolls if you know what I'm saying XD
When i was younger i went to the Lina world Park (but it was called somthing else) But when i saw the outside of the haunted house i KNEW it as that park.
