27:00 - Watching you prepare attacks before the fight was awesome. You did really well there, preparation is half the battle. You got a lot better at the combat with each episode, I feel like you understand it a lot more now and that troll was not ready for it.
30:53 - I disagree, all things considered it is going very well. You handled those fights like a pro.
Traps and locks aren't a huge deal if you nail down thecombat. Traps are kinda strict in PoE1, you usually want 1 character that spends their points on nothing but mechanics if you want to be able to see, disarm and unlock everything. Though in this case you could also always just level up a bit more. There's a lot of quests you passed by in the first areas. I think you haven't been to a lot of the zones there. In fact I believe you never told the sister of the first companion you get in the game, that her sister died. Unless I'm misremembering.

A lot was left in, in this episode. It was kind of an experiment to see if less edited battles might be better :) (me sitting in pure dread in silence still gets edited out 😂😅 I will have to go and make sure I am not missing anything!

Very brave, although preparation is something she could work on. ;)
The Battle of Yenwood Field is a pivotal moment. The more allies you gather upfront through quests, the more loyal assets you'll have on the battlefield. There's even support in the frigid highlands in the far north, provided you help them first (DLC content, mid to high level).
What might help in the case of trap detection is to activate [auto-pause on trap detected] in the gameplay menu. That will lessen the chance of accidently barging into them. GM likes to use her dagger. You've got a nice ranged weapon left for her? She's okay in melee, as long as no one is targeting her.

35:30 - Pwgra are some of the strongest enemies you fight outside major boss battles. They and their druid friends tend to put down a lot of nasty area of effect spells on the ground that can obliterate entire parties, so all things considered you did well there.
The one thing I'd note is you really don't want Grieving Mother to go into melee with that tiny dagger. If you want her to melee give her the biggest 2 handed weapon you have, but honestly she is better in ranged combat given her low health pool. Ciphers in general tend to do really well with crossbows and guns. The drawback of crossbows and guns is that you have to reload them to fire again, but with ciphers you can just fire, gain a bunch of energy from the big burst damage of the gun, then use the energy to cast spells and not reload. Many fights will be over by the time you run out of energy, so you skip the drawback of having to reload entirely. You can kinda do this with wizards too interestingly enough. Wizard with a gun is a legit strategy in this game.
