In certain states when someone first gets their license they are only allowed to stay in a certain mile radius from their home until they turn a certain age or have a certain amount of hours driving, I could be wrong but thats how it works where I live 😭
I live an hour and some change away from my dorm & I’m scared to drive on the highway so I stick to only places close by. She’s a new driver so that’s prob the same reason y.
