Hello. I’m currently thinking about going there to receive my degree in theatre. It seems like it was a very cool looking university. Was it very nice?
Max Quintal if you’re looking for a place to get your degree, meet decent people, and make great connections easily, then this place will be your destination.
андрей волков : Last year I met a very nice lady from Russia. Her husband was going to college here. We had a very nice conversation. She was very pleasant. I asked her how she was enjoying America. She told me that the people treated her well. I was glad to meet her. I think our people would get along well. I just wish out governments did the same.
Im planning to move up thier after Highschool. I dont like living here in California, Though i have lived in a same small desert town my whole life. I plan to hunt and fish while i live up thier. Hopefully i can get the hell out of California. Is thier any thing I should know? Are the winters bad? Is the game good? Are the county and town Policies fair? Please comment, Im anxious to get as many oppinions and facts as i can.
+MKT Trafton Hey dude, I know a lot of people from Moscow, they are rad, being in Cali is good, but there seems to be more down to earth over there... Good luck on your trip. Get as much info as possible
I've lived all over the world, and presently in SoCal. I've been in Moscow a short time, but I like it. You have to wrap your thinking around "small, quiet, slow pace. It's not LA. I must say that there are many places in Idaho that are getting a little ghetto looking - sadly. There's no civic pride like there used to be.
Since it states my post is too long, I'll post it in 2 post. Others may get a "warm fuzzy" feeling from Moscow but evidently if your license plate is from anywhere south of Utah the greeting is more like a slap in the face....(continue below )
Reading through these comments, I'm absolutely mortified. I don't think I've seen so much ignorance and hate expressed in so few lines anywhere else. People suck.
How many people did you actually talk to and interact with in Moscow? If you judge this town by a few people who were rude, obnoxious, and unwelcoming to you as visitors -- whoever they were are not representative of most of the people who choose this as their home. I was born here, lived a lot of other places, and I'm happy to be back. What's your deal?
From what I know, your town hasn't established any cultural connections with Moscow, Russia. I believe it's a good idea to do so, because, after all, your town is Moscow's largest and best known namesake. While there are other, smaller towns also bearing Moscow's name, yours is probably the most famous "other Moscow" out there. I guess it's about time to forge some connections with the big Russian brother.
We traveled through there a while back. There are a lot of NUTS in Moscow. Believe me we avoided Moscow on the return trip. We'll never spend a dime in Moscow Idaho! And we've passed that word along. I apologize to the good people of Moscow and sorry that we didn't encounter you while there. I guess I'll just wait to see if this post gets deleted, evidently the video belongs to some of the rude-sophomoric people we encountered.
I grew up here from 1991 to 2004. I definitely wouldn't move back but I do love the UofI. Moscow is definitely for families, but a cute place to visit. Winters here can be harsh, so anyone from southern California or warmer climates be warned. Idaho is still a conservative state regardless of how liberal and artsy Moscow is.
*Damn right! So stay the fuck out of Idaho. We love our guns, Trump, and America! That includes American history! Our constitution is amazing and if you don't like it, get the hell out of America!*
It was named by 3 lost Russians back 1834 - during a snow blizzard. All 3 got drunk on homemade vodka one night, and they begin to swear that they were back home in Moscow, Russia. This conflicted with the 3 lost Scotsmen, who got drunk on Scotch 2 weeks earlier, and tried to name it Scotland.
I graduated in August 2019 from UI. That place is really beautiful and the people there are amazing.

What 2 Moscow?
On my way
Moscow is the perfect size, not small enough to be a town and not big enough to be a city.

Kohberger and impeachment? The work of my advocates. I had nothing to do with it. They know about keylogging and the order of events in 2003-04.

@@jrevis did you get an answer to to your question?
I can't imagine living in a place called Moscow, that was named in BAD taste!!
WHY IS IT CALLES MOSCOW??? I'm from Moscow but not American Moscow, Russian Moscow!
