Those look like Red Angus cattle, they are lighter colored in the summer and turn really dark red in the winter with their heavy winter coat, very pretty wine color. That is a really nice bale feeder, can't say i've seen one before that dishes out both square and round bales and he has a plastic trash can mounted for the bale wrappings and strings which is very convenient. Thanks Mike !
Wow, that sure looks cold!! The part of the globe where I’m situated it never snows, in fact I’ve never seen snow like that ever. When I feed cattle it’s usually because of drought. Good video 👍 Regards from Down Under.
THANKS MIKE FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO NEVER HAVE BEEN OUT WEST AT ALL WOULD LOVE TO VISIT IDAHO SOMETIME LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE LOTS SNOW THERE AS WELL WE HAVE A FAIR AMOUNT OF SNOW HERE IN PENNSYLVANIA AS WELL . THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO MIKE
The bale feeder would be a great way to eliminate all the waste of just putting the round bale on end in a feeder where most of it was wasted . That's the way a large farmer/rancher did it in the 80's
Stoll loaders are the best Strong, super light and flexibel robt weldet Me and my dad didnt reget one Second of the purches No hydraulik hoses are rouded throu the loader like deere A lot of steel pipes Every stoll attachment fits like a glove in a stoll loader
I’ve fed cattle for many years and never fed on the ground or stored hay without cover. So much money wasted with mold and the cattle walk in and crap in the ground feed. Terrible management there.
My idea of heaven --- owning a dairy/cattle farm in snowy Idaho. Such a beautiful place full of hard-working farmers. Keep living the life, Mike.

Great video, again. The work for a farmer never ends.
Excellent video 👍
Another video of farming techniques that I have never seen before. Thanks for sharing again 👍. Happy subscriber 😊!
I like Mike less videos on TH-cam from the imperial county California stay warm and safe 🇺🇲🇺🇲
Just keeping the cows happy😁👍
Im liking the bale feeder
Good video. They can keep the snow, I’m ready for 80 and sun. Having a front 3 point and pto would be really handy for different things.
deutz power 👍👍
That bale feeder is a good bit of equipment very well made and designed.
Good video.
Real cool mike! nice feed!

Trevor makes excellent farming videos as well.
I think bale feeders are really cool. Plus they are very simple, both in use and construction.

Why do you type in all caps? When you do it is like you are shouting.

This is a pretty common practice out west. The humidity is low and they do not get much spoilage.
My cows love mold
You can clearly see where he fed last time and I didn't see hardly any waste
I bought a piece of crap Deutz. That was a mistake . The only thing worse than the tractor was the service. Rubber band piece of crap.
Can you share more information? Was it a brand new Tractor? What model and why did the dealer not give you service?
