Metal storm I kept doing a bit more research into it. It has something to do with limited molds atm and reusing parts (including hero factory). It also has to do with the fact bionicle may be loved, but the later 30% of the series lost money/ sales and went off. (this is why it disapeared for a year) now it's back, they are using a better system atm (the same one hero factory and more use) to cut back costs and continue it with better ease. For eg even if this new bionicle die, we still have the parts of other sets from the same system and we can go pinch stuff from those sets to replace lost parts or create other bionicle sets with non bionicle sets and/or purchasing it via the spare parts shop. I do not disagree with this but I really want them to think hard on the way how they model the bionicle, some of them look a bit to comical. They also need new chest plates and remember that bionicle is a biological mechanic being. not some knight in armour or a robot. That and there naming system... "skull spiders" -shivers-. Rahkshi , Bohrok, etc... always sound much better.

When i was little i was watching this video and my mum came in and asked why I was listening to Oasis - Wonderwall. For the next 10 years i believed that this mashup was Wonderwall. It wasnt until I listened to Green Day for the first time earlier this year I realised what had happened. Now im a massive Green Day fan and didnt even know I grew up listening to them.

Bionicle 2015 uses a modified version of the CCBS system, one which uses Technic elements such as the gearbox in order to maximize both form and function. It's not the exact same as Hero Factory. Same build, different application. This was all my wording, not someone else's.

Dan Reed honestly, anything in this time that's been brought back after ending just gets ruined. Ninja turtles, teen titans, Scooby-Doo, bionicle, sonic, etc. The era needs to stop bringing old master pieces back ruining them, just give us something original, stuff like those ended for a reason, they were perfect. Honestly, boulevard of broken dreams does not fit the inika at all. Move along was perfect. Why would u advertise a team of heros with a song about a loner? That's like the opposite song to use.

Thinking back on how I first got into bionicle. I dont remember what kind of store I saw them in, but I remember they were the Inika there. I remembered seeing those badass toys on tv not so long ago, it was amazing. I told my dad "Hey dad, I wanna get one of those" He replied "Maybe you'll get one for your birthday". Of course it did happen, I remember when I opened up Hahli Inika, such a magical feeling. I played with it all day, and all night. I must've been six or seven by then... Anyways that's how it started. I later began collecting the matoran, Piraka, and all but Jaller of the inika(Note: I got Hahli 3 times over the years XD). In 2007 when they'd gone underwater, I fell in love with the Barraki. The main reason, was again, due to the amazing advertising. Good christ was that an amazing add. I'd run to catch it on tv. I remember at one of the McDonald's where I lived has a tv in the playing area and it came on and my brother and I sprinted to see it. I'd gotten 3/6 barraki(Sadly I missed Carapar Pridak and Mantax). Later, yet again, another god-like commercial came out for the mahri, which honestly, didnt feel like a toy commercial, but almost like an epic scene from a video game or a movie. Around that year I was really getting into the internet and I remember finding a bionicle series nammed "The legend of Hydros" or something like that. Later on I saw the makuta(At this point we were in 2008). Seeing the shadow leeches corrupt the main character along with those sick ads made me NEED to get them. Initially I was writing this because it was more of a trip down memory lane, but I began realizing a pattern, on something the old had. No it's nothing to do with the sets or "Hero Factory wannabee" shit. I'm talking about the advertisement part. Notice the biggest thing that lured me in was always the advertisement. It almost brought a feeling of mystery. Not gonna lie, until last year I never read the books, and I thought the Barraki were just mindless sea creatures lol. Anyways what those adds brought about was some intrigue to get into the story and shit, and built up a mystery that the reader wanted to find out. Now while I enjoyed G2, if they attempt a G3, this is what theyll have to fix. Don't reveal the entire plot right away, you need to build up mystery. G1 proved that this worked after all, like look at how well it worked, despite it's decline near the end but like shit. Anyways I'm out of words to say, gonna go enjoy the rest of this video, ciao

I love Bionicle, it really was a strong part of my childhood. Legendary toys. Kids today don't have anything coming close to this, what is such a pity. To all of you here wandering in the past, crying that it had to end, just be happy that it happened this way. We can't turn back time. Just imagine going back to childhood, having all your toys back. Don't be sad that it ended, even though it's really hard to not be sad. Be happy that it happened. This really makes a grown man cry.
too bad i always wrecked the sets i got... a lot of people dont understand bionicle. "its too childish" or "im not interested", just remembering that i wanted every single set lego had to offer in the bionicle theme, is enough to make me cry. i remember painting my lego parts to make it look like a certain character. nostalgia hurts but at the same time i love it. most nostalgic things are faded memories nowadays not remembering what those scenes were from, etc.
Remember guys the only way we can bring bionicle back is by teaming up as the bionicle community. Even though bionicle had a great run for ten years straight it still had so much potential with the story. At the end of bionicles life the overall quality of the sets decreased (bionicle stars) but what Lego should have done was ask the community how to improve the sets and submit ideas. A way for all of us to bring it back is to start a movement on Lego cuusoo. If a good amount of people unite to bring it back Lego will see there is still a market for it and start producing sets. so what are we all waiting for!! UNITY DUTY DESTINY.
Actually, we can't start a movement on CUUSOO, because the new guidelines say that you can't suggest themes, just stand-alone sets, and then Lego will choose if they want to continue it as a theme. Although in theory, four sets, each containing a Toa Hagah, might be possible. Other than the fact that Lego have actually melted down the Bionicle moulds, it would work. Now don't go thinking that I don't want Bionicle to come back, I was just pointing out various things.
Nah. Sorry, but G2's commercials didn't come anywhere close to G1 in my opinion. There was something about seeing the sets animated like this that just gave them a lot of power and awe. It made them feel really... alive, I guess? G2's animation was neat, but it didn't really have the cinematic vibe these older ads had.
I admit really liked the art style in JTO, and the 3D models were excellent interpretations of the characters. Really reminded me of the old G1 movies where they improved on the sets, but still kept them recognizable. Shame the dialogue was rather cheesy though. I always say that G1 was a series of toys made for a story, but G2 was a story made for a series of toys.

Bionicle 2015 uses a modified version of the CCBS system, one which uses Technic elements such as the gearbox in order to maximize both form and function. It's not the exact same as Hero Factory. Same build, different application. This was all my wording, not someone else's.
+That American Narrator well said. I am an old bionicle fan and i didnt like hero factory but the new Bionicles utilize a strong system while still feeling similar to the bionicle of the past.

they aren't really back. the new bionicle isn't quite right. The designs are too bland on the enemies and the story isn't as compelling. Oh well.
Dan Reed honestly, anything in this time that's been brought back after ending just gets ruined. Ninja turtles, teen titans, Scooby-Doo, bionicle, sonic, etc. The era needs to stop bringing old master pieces back ruining them, just give us something original, stuff like those ended for a reason, they were perfect. Now getting ruined.

Honestly, boulevard of broken dreams does not fit the inika at all. Move along was perfect. Why would u advertise a team of heros with a song about a loner? That's like the opposite song to use.

Thinking back on how I first got into bionicle. I dont remember what kind of store I saw them in, but I remember they were the Inika there. I remembered seeing those badass toys on tv not so long ago, it was amazing. I told my dad "Hey dad, I wanna get one of those" He replied "Maybe you'll get one for your birthday". Of course it did happen, I remember when I opened up Hahli Inika, such a magical feeling. I played with it all day, and all night. I must've been six or seven by then... Anyways that's how it started. I later began collecting the matoran, Piraka, and all but Jaller of the inika(Note: I got Hahli 3 times over the years XD). In 2007 when they'd gone underwater, I fell in love with the Barraki. The main reason, was again, due to the amazing advertising. Good christ was that an amazing add. I'd run to catch it on tv. I remember at one of the McDonald's where I lived has a tv in the playing area and it came on and my brother and I sprinted to see it. I'd gotten 3/6 barraki(Sadly I missed Carapar Pridak and Mantax). Later, yet again, another god-like commercial came out for the mahri, which honestly, didnt feel like a toy commercial, but almost like an epic scene from a video game or a movie. Around that year I was really getting into the internet and I remember finding a bionicle series nammed "The legend of Hydros" or something like that. Later on I saw the makuta(At this point we were in 2008). Seeing the shadow leeches corrupt the main character along with those sick ads made me NEED to get them.
Initially I was writing this because it was more of a trip down memory lane, but I began realizing a pattern, on something the old had.
No it's nothing to do with the sets or "Hero Factory wannabee" shit.
I'm talking about the advertisement part.
Notice the biggest thing that lured me in was always the advertisement. It almost brought a feeling of mystery. Not gonna lie, until last year I never read the books, and I thought the Barraki were just mindless sea creatures lol. Anyways what those adds brought about was some intrigue to get into the story and shit, and built up a mystery that the reader wanted to find out.
Now while I enjoyed G2, if they attempt a G3, this is what theyll have to fix. Don't reveal the entire plot right away, you need to build up mystery. G1 proved that this worked after all, like look at how well it worked, despite it's decline near the end but like shit. Anyways I'm out of words to say, gonna go enjoy the rest of this video, ciao
When i was 2-3 years old, my dad bought me my 2 first bionicles, shillex and that makuta fly thing,
it was cheaper than normal, and my dad thought they looked cool, and thats how i got into bionicle.

I love Bionicle, it really was a strong part of my childhood. Legendary toys. Kids today don't have anything coming close to this, what is such a pity. To all of you here wandering in the past, crying that it had to end, just be happy that it happened this way. We can't turn back time. Just imagine going back to childhood, having all your toys back. Don't be sad that it ended, even though it's really hard to not be sad. Be happy that it happened. This really makes a grown man cry.
too bad i always wrecked the sets i got... a lot of people dont understand bionicle. "its too childish" or "im not interested", just remembering that i wanted every single set lego had to offer in the bionicle theme, is enough to make me cry. i remember painting my lego parts to make it look like a certain character. nostalgia hurts but at the same time i love it. most nostalgic things are faded memories nowadays not remembering what those scenes were from, etc.
Remember guys the only way we can bring bionicle back is by teaming up as the bionicle community. Even though bionicle had a great run for ten years straight it still had so much potential with the story. At the end of bionicles life the overall quality of the sets decreased (bionicle stars) but what Lego should have done was ask the community how to improve the sets and submit ideas. A way for all of us to bring it back is to start a movement on Lego cuusoo. If a good amount of people unite to bring it back Lego will see there is still a market for it and start producing sets. so what are we all waiting for!! UNITY DUTY DESTINY.
Actually, we can't start a movement on CUUSOO, because the new guidelines say that you can't suggest themes, just stand-alone sets, and then Lego will choose if they want to continue it as a theme. Although in theory, four sets, each containing a Toa Hagah, might be possible. Other than the fact that Lego have actually melted down the Bionicle moulds, it would work. Now don't go thinking that I don't want Bionicle to come back, I was just pointing out various things.

These commercials were just so hype, I loved 'em back in the day. Let's hope Bionicle 2015 can pull off the same level of EPIC that Bionicle G1 held!
DragonaxFilms Did you think that G2 accomplished that? I believe that it did, much better than the original Bionicle even.
Nah. Sorry, but G2's commercials didn't come anywhere close to G1 in my opinion. There was something about seeing the sets animated like this that just gave them a lot of power and awe. It made them feel really... alive, I guess? G2's animation was neat, but it didn't really have the cinematic vibe these older ads had.
DragonaxFilms Okay, the G1 commercials were much better than G2's, but I prefer the animation to the Journey to One to any of the G1 commercials.
I admit really liked the art style in JTO, and the 3D models were excellent interpretations of the characters. Really reminded me of the old G1 movies where they improved on the sets, but still kept them recognizable. Shame the dialogue was rather cheesy though.
I always say that G1 was a series of toys made for a story, but G2 was a story made for a series of toys.
I've stored over a hundred pounds of bionicle parts for just such an occurrence of nostalgia
