Hare Krishna I had a question , is reading or keeping the Mahabharata in your house brings conflicts among the family. I know it's a rumor but I am superstitious and I just ordered the Mahabharata from Amazon and had a query I would be blessed if you could take out some time and answer this question of mine
Reading Gita or Mahabharata doesn't cause conflicts among the family. As you mentioned its rumor. Being superstitious is a hinderance for an intelligent person to progress towards knowledge.

Reading Gita or Mahabharata doesn't cause conflicts among the family. As you mentioned its rumor. Being superstitious is a hinderance for an intelligent person to progress towards knowledge.
Rather it would erase any conflicting feelings between the family members and it will unite them. A family praying together stays together.
