Vocally, back then, J=J had Sayuki and Ruru as powerhouses and Tomoko and Karin as second-tier vocalists. Now? We have only one powerhouse (Ruru) but more second-tiers and thus more flavors: Ichika (multi-talented and has a great personality), Rei (this is Inoue fricking Rei), Mifu (probably the most promising H!P member of this generation), and Riai (extremely versatile vocal-wise and close to being a powerhouse). Which one is better seems to be quite subjective.
