A part of me hopes Joe can get the original Secrets Can Kill to work because the cartoon animation of the characters is a sight to behold. Plus the whole game screams 90's. The whole game reminds me of those 90's paper solo cups. Waverly Academy is obviously the best because it gave us Bachel.
I think my fav moment of any video is when you’re helping the Italian fbi find where Nico is and you said “take the shot” as if Nancy had a sniper on the guy 😂
My favorite moment in the whole of Joe’s let’s plays were when he was playing shadow ranch and someone in chat told him about the hack to make the magnet/ elements puzzle under the rock so much easier and everyone in chat was OUTRAGED because we didn’t know and Joe was so smug “Nancy drew speedrun, sorry flops, if you know you know” 😅😅😅 I was WHEEZING
Every time you yell “hEllo!!!” I laugh. Thanks for your amazing content Joe. You’re one of my favorite ND streamers to watch. I love your commentary and how you can both roast and respect the games the way they deserve. 😂
The first Nancy Drew Game I was able to join in to watch was "Trail of the Twister," and it's DEFINITELY "Best of the Best" for me! I loved Joe's content before the Let's Play format, but let me tell you, I was CRYING I laughed so hard. I was going through an extremely difficult time in my life and stumbled into the stream during the second part of the game. Joe was absolutely reckless while driving around and got to the antennae tower puzzle. Because of the exit hotbox, he accidentally clicked out of the scene and was back to driving. *IMMEDIATELY*, he got T-Boned by like, a truck and three cars all at once and was just screaming, "HELP! HELP!" and I was ***GONE.*** It felt like it had been ages since I had laughed so hard--I watched the VOD like 50 times as soon as it was available (I didn't know about the TH-cam channel at this point). I bothered everyone I knew sharing the clip, barely able to communicate anything because I would just start cracking up all over again just thinking about it. Maybe I latched onto the stream because it made me forget about everything and replaced all the negative thoughts and bad experiences with the pure chaos that is Joe behind the wheel of a Nancy Drew game, but with 100% honesty, every stream was enjoyable, whether or not it was Nancy Drew. If it wasn't for Joe playing Nancy Drew games, I think I would've been trapped in a dark place for a much longer time. I rarely miss a stream now, even if I have to be in lurk mode or keep the tab silenced, and I don't regret it for a second! EVERY stream is hilarious, and I don't know how to advocate Joe's channel more--everyone should sit in a stream from start to finish at least once!! Um, so that is my info dump as to why I like Trail of the Twister. The End. XD
I love Ghost Dog of Moon Lake. But not those chores. I loved the look of the Speakeasie but probably because my great grandfather owned one. My grandmother once told me she was once brought into it when she was little and saw a mountain of sugar she wasn’t allowed to touch. Years later she realizes they were making moonshine and more. FUN FACT: Did you know that Mountain Dew was one of the names the illegal alcohol went by. Usually moonshine.
I’m so glad you liked Midnight in Salem! I felt like I was the only one who loved it 😅Watching your play-throughs has made my past year so fun, can’t wait for the replays!
Ok I have to say THANK YOU for saying that Midnight In Salam was good because it actually was! I was so skeptical when it came out, but it turned out to be really good and so was the storyline. Plus it’s the Hardy Boys I mean come on!👏🏼👏🏼 Oh and P.S. keep an eye out for her interactive’s social media and what they post cause….GAME 34 IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!! Love your videos!❤
The only one of these I'm kind of surprised by is Crystal Skull. I really felt like the iguana would have put it over the edge! I love Treasure in the Royal Tower but Jacques doesn't get enough hate considering someone knocks Nancy out and then he's mad at her for it ?! Ooh la la. Joe should consider playing some of the Humongous games or the Carmen San Diego Detective games (if he can get them to work on his computer.) Purple Moon ones might be up his alley too but hard to find...
I demand justice for deception Island - what's this about painting the whale? Pretty sure the only 'painting' done was the Russians concocting the story about it being an orphan 🤣
I would love it if you could get the original secrets can kill to work! I hated (and still do) the shattered medallion but now I always remember you yelling about BTS being in DC while you played it! As a BTS Stan that made the game just a tiny bit better!
The audacity of putting Blackmoor, Thornton, and Crystal Skull below A tier, smh, those are the best and deserve S. But I come for the creepy vibes and the family drama! 😂
Basically, it was a terrible game because there was literally only ONE suspect, and ***culprit spoiler*** . . . . The one suspect was a white man in black face, with a fake Jamaican accent 😭
Have you ever played the dream chronicles? I never played Nancy drew but these games remind me of dream chronicles and were very very fun and fairy vibes.
I literally came to verify that this meant he finished all the Nancy Drew games 😂. I love Joe and maybe watched a few of the episodes off this series of him playing, but the game is only interesting to me because of his commentary lol. Glad to finally see this put to bed

- Wade saying that people in his state had a lot of big thinkers and philosophers like Colonel Sanders
- Nancy punching and kicking a tombstone to see if there’s a secret latch on it
- Nancy stealing a dozen oranges and gulping down a whole lemon wedge in her tea
Secret of the Old Clock

- Joe reading the fifty page manual on how to make Minette’s special tea (“No, you’re gonna drink whatever I give you. You can’t treat people like this!”)
- Joe commenting on the accuracy of an unpaid internship. “I want you to go down to the park. I want you to buy a pie tin from a sketchy merchant. I want you to tie that pie tin to a fucking stake with a string, and I’m going to pay you nothing. You’re gonna have to use all your own money for this. And if you don’t do it, you’ll never work in this industry AGAIN.”
- Joe reading Minette’s hatemail: “I coulda sworn I read the exact same thing on a Dove chocolate wrapper”
- Nancy drew swimming in the sewers and being sucked into the fan, ground up, and having her viscera ejected from the fountain
Creature of Kapu Cave
-The scientist that Nancy accidentally wakes up: “You, young lady, are in deep, deep trouble.”
Joe: “Uh oh. Was that supposed to turn me on?”
-Nancy solving a puzzle on the statue: “I can move his teeth now!”
Joe: “That’s what my dentist says when I come in for an appointment”
White Wolf of Icicle Creek

Phantom of Venice
-Hearing the card shuffling sound effect and thinking the character sharted
Trail of the Twister
-*after walking into Ma & Pa’s shop* Joe: “This is the sort of place where I’d have to remind Justin that we can’t hold hands”
