I am a Beatles purist, and yet, I think that your renditions are great. Very cool.
"Help" was arguably a punk precursor. While most other songs needed some level of reimagination, the original version of "Help" has always been already almost there, what with the vocal pacing and breakdowns. They just didn't have the modern framework for punk yet (distortion + public understanding or acceptance of the concept).

You can really really tell how influential the Beatles were on Green Day just by listening to this. Billie Joe has talked a lot about it but once you hear it like this it makes so much more sense
