How nice of you to remember the Iowa tornado victims. The Bolger family was from the Kansas City metro area. They were visiting family in Iowa when the tornado hit. RIP to all.
Re: the tornado victims in Madison County, Iowa ... Melissa Bazley (63) was huddled in the pantry of her house with her daughter & son-in-law, Kuri & Mike Bolger, their 3 kids, Brysen (9), Kinlee (5) and Owen (2), Melissa's son Seth, and Melissa's 2nd husband, Raymond. After the tornado struck, amidst the rubble, Melissa reached out to Kuri to give her a cell phone and told her to call 9-1-1 before succumbing to her injuries. Only Kuri, Brysen, Seth and Raymond survived. Rodney Clark (64) and Cecilia Lloyd (72) both came from separate households in Madison County. And Jesse Theron Fisher (40) of Lucas County was killed when another tornado touched down about an hour later.
How does someone come back from losing your mother, husband and 2 of your three children all at once? My heart goes out to Kuri, her brother Seth, her son Brysen and her stepfather, Raymond. My deepest condolences to them all. 💕🙏😢🕊🕊🕊🕊🇦🇺

Mitchell Ryan was my favorite actor in the early days of Dark Shadows. He played his character perfectly and dominated every scene he was in. Always hated that he was fired right before the show became a hit.

He was unfortunately fired from Mork and MIndy when they changed the direction of the show. I really liked season 1. Season 2 was passable. Season 3... in spite of Jonathan Winters, who is a genius, the premise just didn't work. Season 1 was great due in part to the presence of Conrad Janis.
Mitchell Ryan also was on an episode of Golden Girls. He played “Rex Harrington” who was verbally abusive to Blanch. It wasn’t until he grabbed Dorothy’s arm, that she realized how awful of a man (the character, not him personally) was. RIP to all of them 🙏🏼🍃🕊

Disney's Tim Considine passed away? Oh wow! Just last year, in the month of December, I was enjoying some videos of the original Mouseketeers show on TH-cam & I saw a serial called Annette. Annette Funicello was an actress that I adored so I was enjoying this show in which Tim co-starred in. Now that I found about this sad news, I'm going to see again as a tribute to Annette,Tim & the Mouseketeers member that have gone to a better place. RIP and thank you, for the good times! 🙏🏼

30 years ago this week, Sandy Dennis died of Ovarian Cancer at the age of 54. Sandy was known for her Oscar winning role in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?," and one year later starred in the movie "Up the Down Staircase," which she'll always be remembered for no matter what. By the way, she and Johnny Brown were both in "The Out-of-Towners" but she co-starred with Jack Lemon, and Brown had a minor role.
I'd like to add 2 surfers-turned-actors who were in the Frankie & Annette Beach Party movies. ED GARNER (passed on Mar 5) and JOHNNY FAIN (passed on (Mar 9). Both Garner & Fain were plucked off Malibu beach by Director William Asher to do surfing stunts and provide atmosphere for Beach Party (1963) the first of the Frankie & Annette flicks. As the beach movies became wildly popular, a core of recurring surfers and bikini-clad starlets emerged as audience favorites. American-International signed them to contracts and began promoting them as the 'beach party gang'. Ed Garner and Johnny Fain were part of the gang, along with Salli Sachse, Patti Chandler, Mary Hughes, Linda Opie and Michael Nader (who would one day star in Dynasty). The 'beach party gang' didn't just appear in the films; AIP would also send them out on promotional tours around the country. Garner and Fain were in Beach Party, Muscle Beach Party, Bikini Beach, Pajama Party, Beach Blanket Bingo, Ski Party, How to Stuff A WIld Bikini and The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini (Garner only).
