This is the best ost for me of all the islands. I feel there's something more to this place. It's spooky yes, but not scary. You feel the sadness, loneliness to it as well. I want to stay on this Island and I want to learn more about what happened to it!! Also the kid!! 😭The music is making me emotional to be honest.
they literally chose different path for this island's musics like dragonspine. instead using some progressions, melodies, and instrument from representative region, they chose melodies and progresions that very common and iconic to sad and calming theme in every media like movie, anime, or game. it makes us feels more attached to the melody because well we grown up together with this type melodies that portray calmness, sadness, etc. thats why we like it.

id disagree with you, both have different theme. i cannot describe what mood for Watatsumi while Tsurumi ambient is absolutely sadness and some parts shows how post-tribe extinction in deserted island like. for me both still best.
I thought watatsumi was the best of all Inazuma Isle but Tsurumi Island says it other wise...other game area OSTs are also good but those two kinda gives more feel to it
